Senator Dick Durbin Puts the Rumors to Rest!

But I guess Trumptards don’t really think good foreign relations with the jiggaboos is very important.
You were just dying to use that word, weren't you? You could only repress it for so long before you had to spew your diarrhea and try to blame it on someone else. Classic projection.

The point is that the President should be using diplomatic language, i.e. being polite, instead of calling countries friendly to the US ****holes. Being diplomatic is part of the job description, and Trump is too narcissistic to be able to do that.

I agree with that, but this wasn't a public pronouncement by Trump. The statement was made in private and leaked to the press by democrats. So if democrats were really interested in not hurting the feelings of these countries they would not have told the world what was said. But we all know they are more interested in destroying Trump than protecting ****hole counties.

Notice how they also leave out the context in which it was said to.

The "where would you rather live" question is a great diversion, but irrelevant. You've been droning on and on with it. Obviously you need someone to explain a few things, so I'm here for you.

People usually don't want to leave their homes and families and emigrate to a strange country with a different language unless the have a compelling reason. That's why we don't get a lot of people banging on our doors from prosperous places like Norway. Back in the 19th and early 20th centuries some of the countries in Europe were ****holes for a number of reasons, so we had a lot of immigrants from those countries, including my own ancestors. Today Western Europe has cleaned up its' act to the point where its' citizens are happy to stay put. Citizens of other countries, which you might call ****holes, are the ones with the compelling reasons to come here for the opportunity to earn a better life for themselves and their children. By and large, immigrants come from ****hole countries, not paradise.

So according to you, Trump was right then. Haiti is a ****hole country.

“Why are we having all these people from ****hole countries come here?” -Trump
Trump denies having said the word ****hole but democratic senators said he did.
Is he wrong in saying that some countries are really horrible places or "****holes"?
And then asking the law makers why are we choosing to allow more people to come from "these places" then choosing to allow people from different countries maybe ones that will more easily assimilate to american colture?
Keeping in mind that this was behind closed doors and not ment for public ears.

Why are you defending the Trump remarks about ****holes when Trump says he never used that language?

Notice how the Republican narrative started at "fake news" as usual and by the next day shifted to "true, but okay"? We always have to go through this little ritual.

Haiti is a country with severe economic problems where the infrastructure is non existent. For a lot of people, it's a terrible place to live. It doesn't help anything to call it a ****hole. Just like it wouldn't help anything to call Texas a ****hole after last summers hurricane strike, even though at the time it wasn't a good place to live. Labels like that are hurtful and inflammatory so thoughtful, intelligent people don't use them.

It must get really tirng for them to defend their cult leader and have to constantly sell out their dignity.

Well, one consequence is that Botswana, an ally, has sent a diplomatic letter to the US enquiring if it is officially being regarded as a ‘****hole’ country.

But I guess Trumptards don’t really think good foreign relations with the jiggaboos is very important.

Without Botswana's valuable contributions to our country whatever shall we do without them? What's their #1 export? AIDS? I think we can do without.

"Trumptard" + hipster racism. The haters crack me up. Using that kind of language at their Klan meetings then slip up in public on occasion.

Huh. Always good to see people come right out with their bigotry rather than keeping it hidden.

Not that I ever doubted you.

Dude...come on, that comment was gross, even for you.

And you shouldn't think about it as just Botswana. It was all of Africa. A quick check shows:

The United States has a $37 billion in total (two ways) goods trade with SubSaharan Africa countries during 2015. Goods exports totaled $18 billion; Goods imports totaled $19 billion. The U.S. goods and trade deficit with SubSaharan Africa countries was $1 billion in 2015.

Do you really want to have Africa redirect it's trade to other, emerging markets, along with all the lost American jobs that implies, so that your boy can be a racist asshat? Seems like a bit of class might be the more prudent approach...too bad Trump seems utterly incapable of demonstrating even an iota of class...

Perhaps you might hang around a union shop someday and see if the mouths of democrat voters are any different.

Well, shame on them too. No excuse for anyone to talk like that, but especially the POTUS.

But thoughtful, intelligent people like the democrats at this private meeting tell the world what was said is that it?

Maybe he shouldn't have said it in the first place. Then you wouldn't have to whine about Democratic tattletales.

You do understand that Trumptard is a parody of the term libtard, so dear to the right wingers. I agree we shouldn't stoop to your level.

Botswana Has AIDS
Botswana is experiencing one of the most severe HIV/AIDS epidemics in the world. The national HIV prevalence rate among adults ages 15 to 49 is 24.8 percent, which is the third highest in the world, behind Lesotho and Swaziland.

You'll never see me saying either. So I guess that "moral high ground" that the liberals claimed to have was just an illusion after all. Not that I ever doubted it, I'm just surprised at the speed at which they discarded that argument.

I'm confused.

What part of calling a country a ****hole (when it is one) is racist?
It may be anti-that country, sure. But racist? How does that work?

Perhaps you could explain that to me.

I’m pretty sure it relates to the countries he’s considering ****holes.

And it’s no coincidence where they are.
