My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns [W:56]

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

The way he's running his Admin it's obvious he knows nothing about politics, so maybe he never realized the scrutiny would be this intense.

Yeah, he thought he'd get the Obama treatment. Silly man.

Trump's getting the Trump treatment because he's is a classless egomaniac liar. If he wants better 'treatment' a start would be for him to delete his Twitter account. Tweet him at that 'dump' White House and tell him to do that. LOL

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

Deflection? I don't care about the topic, or quite frankly, your wife. If she wants to post here, then so be it, but it was you who made her the subject of the thread. What's next, are you going to bring the family pet into your posts? How about your hair stylist, they clearly must have a prediction you want to share.
The messenger and her message are correct, and you are trolling. So sloppy on your and Slingshot Bob's part.

Yep, the truth is in the tax returns. lol

My responses don't need to be any more detailed than the original "my wife said..." post. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of the rabid anti-Trumpers.

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

Moderator's Warning:
Folks, James chose a use a poorly thought out subject line that needlessly and foolishly inserted his wife into the topic, using her as some kind of "source" who's opinion anyone on this forum should care about when that is simply not the case. That said, the actual body of his post, and the actual subject he's trying to discuss, has zero to do with his wife. Going forward, if you want to question why he would drag his wife into the debate, why he thought ANYONE on this forum gave a damn what his wife thought or said at any point, or other such questions I'd suggest trying to do so in a more appropriate location.

For the purpose of THIS thread, going forward you should stick to the content of the OP as opposed to the poorly thought out subject line. That means a focus on the impaneling of the Grand Jury

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

Why is it that people keep whining about Trumps taxes, when CNN already let themselves get railed over this same thing.

Rachel Maddow's epic buildup to Trump tax 'scoop' disappoints on Twitter - Mar. 14, 2017

First, Rachel Maddow works for MSNBC not CNN.
Second, those taxes were likely leaked intentionally by Trump, precisely because they didn't show much. The taxes Mueller will look at won't be so selective. There is/was a reason #45 coveted his taxes so much. It's like asking a woman "have you always been faithful to your husband?" and she responds, "I'm not going to answer that question." You've got you answer.

When a candidate says, "I can't release them because of an IRS audit." But there is no audit. then he says, "I'll release them after the election," and doesn't, we know he's got something to hide.

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

Trump will make a deal and resign before his returns are turned over to the DOJ. He knows they'll be the death of him or else they'd already be public record.

You're not serious right.
You're saying that his IRS tax returns are not already accessible by the feds right now?
That he can some how file his taxes with the feds, but not where they can see them?

What kind of bizarro world does that exist in?

It's worse than that.

They think there's something criminal in right in his tax returns that he filed with the IRS.

Seriously -- they think he put incontrovertible evidence of a serious crime right in the documents he's required to file with the government.

What in the hell is wrong with people.

Between that and the Stephen Miller (who's Jewish) said something anti semitic to a Cuban guy thread, we're going past peak derangement.

Seems pretty obvious -- they're so hysterical with the desire to undo the election that they'll cling to anything, no matter how nutty. That's been 9 months now.

Talk to Trump, guys; he is the one who is destroying his Presidency.

Your hysteria is noted.

That the truth lies in his tax returns? Good on you.

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

Pence is neck deep in the issues involving the investigation. He's never going to be POTUS.

So you think Pence will resign like Agnew did ?
And as history repeats itself speaker of the house will become President ?
Ouch then it would President Ryan.

Oh well...time will tell.

No, I suspect he'll go down hard, not be given the chance to resign.

There's scuttlebutt on Ryan, as well.

All the IRS cares about is that all income is reported. Mueller and his team will look at sources of income and identify whether or not there are conflicts of interest.

IRS agents carry guns, did you know that?
Do you know why?

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

It serves no purpose to release the tax returns. "To some" is a good sized disclaimer. "To most" getting the country on track is more important.

It helps establish trust, credibility, and would be trump keeping his word, and would continue the transparency standard followed by everyone relevant of note for the last forty years. No aside from that, nothing at all. What does trump need with trust, credibility or upholding transparency and customary good conduct? He's a ****ing menace to the world, of course he pisses on it, just like his dwindling supporters.

Re: My wife said 18 months ago it was Trump's tax returns

President Pence would be a step up - he at least knows how to govern. hmmm.....maybe that's not such a great idea afterall.

Pence plays well with others in a way that Trump doesn't. Pence may be much likelier to be able to ram through some very draconian legislation.

Apologies, unfortunately I remember the CNN cronies harping about it on twitter more then her. Because after the airing of the information she was rather quiet for a few days.

I know. The clown show we presently have is bad, but... things are pretty much stagnated, too, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
