This Independence Day is so much different than the past eight, even nine or ten.

This Independence Day feels different, and in too many way to list.

... because for me there is a sense of hope that feels really real in the world around me. I don't know if President Trump can really Make U.S. Great Again, but wouldn't it be wonderful if he does?

Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in safe communities, send our kids off to good schools, have a strong military and live in cities that have sturdy infrastructures?

America and American Citizens should come first in America, and Mexico and Mexican Citizens should come first I Mexico! The same holds true for Muslims, Italians, French, Greek, etc ...

Looking forward to that great healthcare plan which will save hundreds from that evil investment income tax at the mere cost of tens of thousands of poor people's lives.

So much winning.
 
I have less hope than I did under Obama because I think Trump is incompetent, but I still hold on to hope. I'll always be hopeful on Independence Day in particular.

Too much whining, bemoaning and complaining!

Look of the bright side, the more things change, the more things remain the same!

If we don't like the way the GOP is conducting business in 2017, we can put the DEMS back in control of Congress, in November of 2018, it's really that simple!

Isn’t that what you were doing? You’re moaning and complaining about how things are (as you see them) in your community and your only concrete response is to pray and put blind hope in the light and noise of a new President. No President, let alone Trump, is going to make your community safer, make your schools better or improve the infrastructure in your cities. That kind of thing requires the people actually in those communities to put in the ground work. What have you done for your community lately? Rather than just blindly praying for “hope and change” ;) how about getting up of your ass and actually doing something practical?
