Interesting snippets coming out on the Lester Holt/NBC interview. DJT states that Dir. Comey assured him (DJT), that he was not 'personally' under investigation. DJT stated that he had asked the Dir. the question. LH pointed out that DJT was the centerpiece of the campaign, DJT still stated that he was 'assured' that he was not personally the target of the investigation.

He also went on record calling Dir. Comey 'a showboat?'

What I didn't respect about Comey was his arrogance. He was trying to blackmail Trump, because according to him, he got Trump elected President. Comey thought he was more powerful than the President and Trump showed him the door.

This is an interesting point of view, as opposed to firing Comey because he's getting too close (I wager there was no collusion.)

Comey couldn't let Clinton go so the premise for firing is incorrect but I can see getting tired of him, since there's really no no collusion. Why would Trump get himself into a position where he could be blackmailed?

Hoover was in office so long because he blackmailed many presidents. I don't think Trump wanted Comey to get more powerful.

This and Trump didn't want Comey probing around because he might find something the President doesn't know about. You don't know what he might uncover. It's kind of like taking the fifth.

Perhaps Trump had skeletons in his closet. I don't argue with that, but every President had skeletons and secrets.

Remember JFK? When he died his brother secured all the presidents secret files before anyone else could get to it.
 
I also do not mind having connections with Russia. The previous president pretty much made our relations to Russia worse so if Trump and certain Russian officials have ties, I am 100% okay with that.

Russia is our biggest threat. They are a bigger threat than ISIS, Iran, North Korea, any other country. In order to establish world peace we need to establish better relations in order to infiltrate their infrastructure to destroy them.

So your plan is to become pseudofriends with Russia, infiltrate them, and destroy them as if from a Trojan horse?

Do tell us, Bucky, what's to stop the Kremlin from doing that to us first?
