Is Hillary a survivor of assault/abuse/etc from Bill?

Based on love .. love of power perhaps. Like you said he is a philanderer and has been for at least 40 years ( the finally admitted affair with Gennifer Flowers started in like 1977 ). I would guess that when they were still a very young couple she might have actually cared personally. but as you said she become to only care about when people find out. Its a marriage of convenience and has been so for decades now. she stuck with him as it was her ticket to power. Hillary doesn't care about anyone but Hillary.

I don't think Hillary is evil, just bat guano insane. I mean, can you really blame her? Hillary may be scary, but Bill is the true horror of the equation. I've read the stories about how she coped and what she went through in her relationship with this emotionally-abusive, disloyal, and utterly arrogant and power-hungry man... who just so happened to be President of the United States... and ON TOP of her duties as First Lady.

The main reason I was hoping she wouldn't become the next POTUS is the simple fact that Bill would return to power (the only President to be formally impeached in the history of the United States).

There is a reason for impeachment. He obviously bullied Hillary to run for President, that's why her efforts seem so forced.
If anyone with half her strength went through what she went through, they would probably end up in a loony-bin.

I think you under estimate Hillary's own ambitions and experience.

Her husband is more of a hindrance than an asset considering he practically sabotaged her campaign by hunting down Lynch at the airport. He tried to sabotage her campaign in 2008, too. So it's questionable if he really wants her to win and whether he'll have much to say or do if she does.

Time for me to admit I've been a bit too hard on Hillary. I've always distrusted Bill, though. Either way, I cannot vote for Hillary, I have no respect for someone who doesn't even self-respect to leave Bill, or is willing to risk national security to hide things from him, or hijack the State Department for him to launch wars and kill people and other things. I hope she gets the help she needs one day, nobody survives sexual-assault without getting some serious mental scars from it.

(Of course, there is no evidence that Bill assaulted her in this way, but I'm basically taking the story and flipping it to what a very powerful and womanizing man such as President Bill Clinton, the most powerful man in the world, would have likely flipped it from.)

(Plus the idea of Bill Clinton being back in the White House disturbs the **** out of me. ALWAYS has.)

For that I applaud her. I hope she beats Trump. But I cannot vote for her. I support Bernie Sanders for President. I am still likely going to vote for Jill Stein, or Gary Johnson.
We need someone who doesn't have all this ****ing baggage to be President of the United States. That is the baggage that comes first in that job.

Trump is worse. Trump isn't crazy. He's power-hungry. That is very different. And much MUCH worse. It basically means he's pure evil.

The worst of them all, however, is George W. Bush, and Bill's a close second.
