American Federation of Teachers need to stop whining and get in the classroom.

The doctors on the Coronavirus Task Force this morning said students are better off, safer and will learn better and benefit from other service in school than staying at home. Teachers are vital to America but they love to complain about everything.

Taking care of worker safety is an important and central purpose of all workers unions and associations. It is outright stupid, not to mention shortsighted, to expect teachers to teach children and quite possibly get and spread the virus to their families. Attacking the teachers for this concern is simply more radical right wing crap - and it reeks.

I'm not sure about how vital teachers are. As the idiom goes: "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach."

Public education has been constantly getting worse with each passing decade, despite increases in spending. It has also been demonstrated repeatedly that home schooled children are more advanced than public school educated children their same age.

Teachers may have been vital before the development of the World Wide Web, but now that every home has access to resources that once only brick and mortar schools could provide, it changes just how vital those teachers have become. Virtual schools, with class sizes in the tens of thousands are now possible.

Meanwhile Trump's son's school will NOT be opening up for in-person teaching until at least October. In other words that school will NOT be opening up. So while Trump and his death cult want to risk teachers, staff and children health. Barron Trump will safely be at home..

You can't make this stuff up.
