Don't blame Barr.

Blame Rosenstein, Mueller and his crew, the House Dems, etc. It's because of all of them that nobody could actually investigate the Obama administration wrongdoing. Once those people had shot their wad...and failed to hit Trump...there was nothing standing in the way of an investigate that actually has evidence.

Yeah...it sucks for the Dems and T-haters that justice will be served right before the election.

it will amount to a sensational nothing sandwich. Not that it won't be hyped up as the biggest crime of the century by Benedict Donald. It'll be interesting if its "selectively" redacted in the interests of national security and the shape of the accompanying narrative crafted by Barr of course.

He did a doozy on the mueller report. If Trump loses, that is one thing that is gonna come back and bite barr hard on his fat arse.

No. This isn’t the DOJ of 2016. Barr is widely understood to be thoroughly corrupt, so any October Surprise as a result of a DOJ decision will only be meaningful for trump supporters.

This is just one of many reasons why there was until Trump a traditional barrier between the White House and the DOJ: if the President is known to have successfully turned it into a tool to serve himself, nobody is going to trust its decisions.
