Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser made a statement that can't be missed, (even from outer space). At 3:30 a.m. this morning, a group of volunteers painted in yellow paint, huge letters on 16th street. 'BLACK LIVES MATTER'. The street is visible from high rise buildings... and the White House. In addition to painting the message, the name of the street has officially been changed to 'Black Lives Matter Blvd.'

 
Racism has finally been eliminated in DC - let's credit that brilliant mayor. ;)
 
It wasn't too long ago when we pleaded for all lives to matter. Remember that pandemic we are still not over with? Black, white, it didn't matter. We were "in this together". Was it all a farce, a facade, or did we really care about getting enough PPE, enough ventilators, enough hospital beds, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity?
Yeah, cool.

So we didn't plead for masks, for PPE, for ventilators for all people? Who cares, really. Lets riot and be violent and pissed of and spit on each other to spread the virus.

Wonder where trump will be when the protest kick in around the WH, my guess is a golf course someplace. Unfit for the Office, Change it

I listen when they write that "all lives matter". The lives of all human beings, the ones who can't speak for themselves, the ones attacked, the ones we let down, the innocent.
Stop the abuse, stop the violence, stop the hypocrisy.

They have been around the White House for days. He was rushed down to the bunker for safety, that's why he earned the Twitter hashtag #BunkerBitch. That's the reason for the dramatic trek to St. John's to hold up a Bible for the cameras. It didn't matter that they police had to tear-gas and concussion bomb peaceful protestors to clear the streets for his drama.
 
Well, I sure feel more diverse. Glad racism has finally been solved!

You conflate the societal response to covid (not without its detractors) with the response to Murder by cop and a broken justice system. Very cool.

I agree it should stop. Perhaps you should also listen to those who say all lives matter misses the friggin' point.

Tough.
If you want there to be a reasonable centre extremism on one side needs to be countered by extremism on the other. Trump is still tweeting lies about Colin Kaepernick. This counters that and makes a chance for a reasonable centre.
