It has been two separate parties for along time now. Hell, we've had more than those two before as a standard in the past.

So now you're attempting to argue on something that is suggestive. Because had they actually been the way that you are currently attempting to make them seem. Then they never would've accepted something as simple as ratifying the 14th amendment.

It's good to see that the case against Flynn is most likely going to be dropped in it's entirety.

Obama opening his mouth about it was probably not the best thing for him to do. Especially when he was completely wrong about what Flynn was charged with.

Oh, right. You're totally correct. My mistake was not including far-right fantasies from laughable nutcase sources as "scandals." I'm only surprised they could only come up with 18. Where's the "tan suit scandal"?

Now please, do continue your discussion of "credibility," supported with references like Breitbart. I was going to watch Seinfeld reruns, but this is WAY better.

During the Obama Administration, counterintelligence agents, while routinely monitoring the Russian Ambassador to the US, caught Flynn secretly undermining US foreign policy. Flynn lied to FBI agents even though the agents had given Mr. Flynn repeated opportunities during questioning to correct his misstatements. Flynn lied to VP Pence about it. Flynn admitted this in open court.

Then the most crooked president in US history hired Barr to clean things up. Barr moved to drop the charges even though Flynn had already pleaded guilty--a move almost without precedent. None of the career prosecutors would sign the motion to dismiss and at least one quit the case (four quit the Stone case after Barr pulled a similar stunt).

Dirty stuff indeed.

And all just to divert attention from Trump's disastrous mishandling of the pandemic.

My very 1st post in this exchange.

Called out tRUMPs BS about obamagate, as that is the topic of the thread. It's another lock her up BS. He didn't lock her up because she didn't do anything to get locked up.
Now he's trying the same BS with obama, and he's not even running for office.
And his hand picked AG is not even going to investigate. So of course it's a lie.

Obamagate in itself, isn't a lie. There were identifiable abuses of the office's power to spy and it was being used to target a political opponent. But I guess that's something you're fine with that sort of thing, so long as it's against Trump?

I have no idea where the thought that Obama is going to get locked up came from. I haven't seen Trump say anything about it either and I have his twitter thread at my finger tips. So I really don't care for how much you'd like to twist and spin the story for your own agenda.

I already knew that Hillary wasn't going to get locked up. She had the protection necessary to keep herself free from any reprisal, even though she was in clear violation of the office's practices. Trump's usual bloviating didn't do much, but put a larger eye on the subject. Something that I really didn't care about either.

This sounds more like an excuse to vote for a known liar than it does anything else.

The idea of Obama gate is that Obama ordered the investigation into Trump with flimsy information to base it upon.

Despite all the idiocy going on in this thread, that's pretty easy to figure out. Probably why you had such trouble.

You're actively wrong about your presumptions about what Obamagate even pertains to. So you don't even have an informed opinion on how this might even turn out.

No one said to put Obama in jail either, this is merely for holding the office to account for it's misuse of power and the attacks it made on a political opponent. Nothing more.

So the only one here pushing lies, is you.

I read what Barr is going to do with obama. NOTHING.

So quit posting lies about what is going on. Don't feel so triggered because Obama is not under any investigation.

Oh, My, Russian collusion to impact the U.S. elections and keep Hillary out of the WH. Really, this comments deserves to be in the conspiracy area and has been an issue since November 2016. You really need to get over your TDS as you continue to ignore Obama's reaction to Russia along with Hillary who reset the button in Russian relations. Obama removing defensive missiles from Poland also seems to be ignored

Can you explain why you have such a love affair with Obama? Doesn't seem to fit into the reality of the results generated and him losing the House I 10-12-14-16 and the Senate in 14-16 with Democrats losing the WH and the Senate again in 18

This is almost cult like support for a President who generated the worst recovery from a major recession in modern history

Do you remember Watergate, when a couple of Nixon's campaign people, broke into the Watergate Hotel to steal campaign secrets from the Democrats? ObamaGate is similar, with ObamaGate, Watergate on steroids. Nixon used amateurs to steal, while ObamaGate used the professional in the FBI, CIA, Treasury, and many other agencies, to do the dirty work. Nixon never went that far.

This all began in 2015, during the primary season. It was a way to give the Democrats and Hillary an advantage. Nobody expected Trump to win, so the plan was to dirty Trump up so Hillary could win. If Hillary had won, they could make all the evidence of ObamaGate disappear, using the same shady players. It seemed like a good plan.

When Trump won, out of nowhere, all the crooks became very vulnerable and began phase 2. Phase 2 was to destabilize the new Administration and also take out Trump, so he could not expose them. This almost worked but there was never any evidence behind the accusations of Russian collusion, nor could they dig any other dirt that could stick. Now countering evidence is leaking out, drip, drip, drip, that exposes ObamaGate. The evidence had been secured as classified information so it could be hidden. But as more and more is declassified the story has become clear.

The question I have for the Democrats is, if they think ObamaGate was a big nothing burger, would it be OK if Trump did the exact same thing to Biden in 2020, as long as he follows the same procedures that the Democrats used? For example, Trump would have to use both FBI and CIA? Or does the dual standard apply?

Trump could get the FBI to secure FISA warrants to spy on the Biden campaign under the guise of national security. Biden's son did take a $billion plus from China, so China collusion could be used to justify this in that parallel universe. Feinstein of California had a Chinese spy as her driver for years, so we can use that to spy on her and tap her phones, ObamaGate style. Maybe we can use Treasury to find out where the Clintons and Obama hide their ill begotten money.

Barr said he will not seek criminal indictments against Obama and Biden. Barr dd not say Obama and Biden were innocent and were not part of the scam. Barr did not wish to alter the long standing tradition of not going after past presidents, when out of office. However, the mounting evidence will create political damage to the legacy of Obama and it will impact Biden in 2020. They will now and forever be listed ahead of Nixon when it comes to being the poster children for corruption in the White House.
