A) There is the correct response rather than arguing over pro abortion vs. pro choice....

Let’s assume Ford is 100% telling the truth...

We still have no idea if Kavaugh had planes to rape her..



HER ACCOUNT..

He led her , willingly to the back bedroom.

Started kissing and groping her...

She screamed and he covers her mouth..


His best friend tackles him and she flees , never speaking to kavanagh again...

Right???


Is that he was going to rape her the only logical conclusion from those variables???


What is , drunkenly he covered her mouth to stop her from screaming . Only to explain she had the wrong idea, and the friend tackling him and her fleeing. Ensured the miscommunication was cemented...





I am not saying that is what happened... I am saying the situation did not progress far enough for us to know what Kavanagh’s next move would have been...


If the friend did not tackle him, we might know he was a rapist , and he might have been reported that night..


If the friend had not tackled him playfully , maybe Kavanagh explains “Whoa chia , I thought you were down.. there is no need for theatrics I will happily leave..”

Even in fords account it is not attempted rape beyond a reasonable doubt AT ALL..

While I don't have a clue as to whether this allegation has any truth behind it, saying that a woman is "too ugly to rape".

1) Is a deeply offensive statement. Offensive to the woman in particular and to victims of sexual assault in general.
2) Is the kind of statement only an ignorant man would make who doesn't have a clue as to what motivates men to sexually assault a woman (I'll give you a clue, the victims appearance is way, way, way down on the factors that lead a man to commit a rape).
