DNC Needs To Replace Biden Now!

Then why do you support trump?

Trump is clearly not a party puppet. The republican party tried to force a puppet on us but all their losers were destroyed by Trump. Too be honest I think they thought Hillary would win. The rich and powerful are not concerned about which party since they own both. They do not own Trump though. They will use their media to destroy Trump if they can but if nothing else they will keep him from doing much of anything for the people. The rich and powerful still own the other 2/3 of our government and the media. They just need to be careful not expose themselves. Divide and control is the name of the game. That is how you stay on top. The rich and powerful have the most to lose. Personally I think we need to elect a bunch of young leaders locally where the parties have the least control. Unfortunately there are too many people who vote party and have no clue who is even running or what they stand for. I have worked the poles for a long time and see it first hand every election. What is really sad is that half the people don't vote and have no belief anything can be done about the situation.

Because super delegates proportionally have more voting power than the voting population. Primaries/Caucuses have set number of delegates per state, meaning 100,000 voters could vote in the primaries to achieve a small number of delegates (for example, Wyoming has 3 delegates) and a super delegate counts as 1 delegate (and there are 430+ Democratic super delegates)

So?

Do you realize that if the Dems set the rules starting in 2024 to huddle in a dark room somewhere and emerge with their candidate, without holding a single primary, that would be perfectly legal and constitutional? There is nothing in the Constitution that mandates that political parties hold democratic primaries. Nothing.

All these claims on the "DNC is rigged" spectrum are nothing more than opinions.

Trump is clearly not a party puppet.

You're right. It's the other way around. Republican politicians are too cowardly to stand up to trump.

there is no cause to stand against Trump, the right thing do so is to stand behind Trump.

Good!

Now why did you peddle the anti-Democratic talking point about the supers? The convention rules are clear. The supers would be allowed to vote their consciences.

and how are the super delegates selected?

So you're okay that 4 super delegates hold more power than the entire voting population of a state like Wyoming? Or 56 hold more power than California?

and how are the super delegates selected?

Super delegates are selected from the following: Elected member from the DNC, Democratic Governors, Democratic Members of Congress and distinguished party leaders (like former presidents, congressional leaders, former vice presidents, etc.). To put things into context, if Nevada had a Democratic Governor, he would have more voting power than 1/3 of the voting population.

it's an electoral college on training wheels

it's an electoral college on training wheels

In my opinion, it's unfair to Democratic voters participating in primaries/caucuses. For example, Wyoming has a population around 600K, so if every voter voted for Joe Biden, 4 super delegates could select a different candidate and essentially negate all the votes.

They had their chance with impeachment. You still don't get it. In order to control the people we must not be allowed to unite. The rich and powerful must keep us equally divided. If one party was any better than the other and actually served the people it would have a clear majority of support. The other party would be gone. Not happening because the people who own our government know that We the People can never be allowed to unite. That is why they have used their media to keep us pitted against each other for longer than I have been alive.

Like Obama was much of an uniter either. He hated half the country and held them with contempt. How are you supposed to run the country if you feel that way?

Thought he was bad in the debates and on the campaign trail... but his online ramblings and media interviews are a clusterf***! We cannot afford another 4 years of Trump. Biden seems closer to moving into a retirement home than he is the White House. I hope to God I'm wrong. If Biden is still the nominee in November I'll be voting for him because that is just how bad Trump really is. But this is not a good situation.

Boy, for a guy who destroyed Sanders faster than Hilary did I thought he was doing pretty good?

So some Democrats are more equal than others?

Will this philosophy and its rules remain within the Democratic Party or will it one day be extended o all Americans?

This has been in place since the early 1970s and one of the only ways it would be extended to all American's is if we shifted away from the electoral college (which I don't support).

Not surprising that this movement, or policy, began in the 70's. That's when the Democrats were being most influenced by Communism in the USSR, Chairman Mao and Fidel Castro.

....Can the party actually do that, though? I mean, at this point, the first vote is pretty much locked in for Joe, isn't it?

The choices for POTUS have been getting worse and worse since the 1960s............

You are describing trump

Exactly what I was thinking.

I don't remember President Obama blaming ANY and EVERYTHING on the cons and media like the idiot-in-chief does to the dems and MSM.

In fact Obama blamed the entire country during his 'apology tour',

I kinda dont blame bernie bros for being upset at the failed washington consensus of the 80s and 90s and wanting democrats to actually run against that. I will blame them however if they take their ball home on election day.
