I'm wondering how people feel about the attitude that for the last 30+ has been, "it's not your fault" "it's not your responsibility" "everyone else owes you" "the government owes you" has effected the overall attitude of the country.
Aside from promoting class warfare, race warfare, gender warfare, political correctness, government dependence, socialized bailouts, socialized bail-
ins, addiction, unwanted pregnancies, child neglect, elder neglect, anarchism, sexual disease, NIMBYism, victim mentality, racism of low expectations, tens of trillions of dollar in debt, hundreds of trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities, hypocrisy, histrionics, safe spaces, overconsumption, hopelessness, rage, vindictiveness, contempt for public institutions, misanthropy, and a malcontented, perpetually offended, sue-happy citizenry... I think it's great.
I'm wondering ... why "work hard, follow the rules, get an education, don't run with the wrong people" has become a bad thing?
Um... Because America (Western society, more generally) has given itself over to an attitude of no responsibility.
It's in the thread title.
