Now that Bernie claims he deserves a coronation, he should get the full Hillary Clinton treatment - being relentlessly scrutinized and daily savaged in the press until the General election ends.

So what do 'we' the general public, really know about Bernie Sanders? Aside from a few grainy pictures of him in Russia multiple times, and his three homes, not much. He won't even release his medical records. We should all ignore his rabid trolls and Start vetting him like crazy.

For me personally, Bernie Sanders checks off a lot of the things that I don't like about Trump and his cult-like supporters:

Rabid followers - check.
Populist con artist promises - check.
Main campaign promise is medicare for all which like the wall is unattainable in the congress
Silencing of dissent - check.
Taking over a party - (in progress).

The GOP may be strong enough to survive after Trump, but will the Democrats hold there noses and not only vote for Bernie Sanders, but passionately support everything he says and does just because he's their useful idiot? It seems that the momentum is moving towards that way, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats do the exact same thing that the Republicans did in 2016. It makes me sick.

I applaud your intellectual honesty and consistency, NeverTrump. I despise Sanders' ideology, platform and mannerisms for much the same reasons, and then some.

I hope that he is given the appropriate scrutiny he has been so strangely denied for the past forty years, most likely for being a seemingly kooky independent outside of the political mainstream who has only recently parasitically attached himself to the Democratic Party like Donald Trump did to my Party.

When has Bernie ever claimed to deserve a coronation? Surely you can back that statement up? The difference between him and Hillary is he's actually trying to win the voters over despite the DNC not really wanting him, while Hillary tried to sidestep the entire voting process.

News flash, the media already treats Bernie 1,000 times more critical than they did Hillary, so he's more than used to it and it won't be stopping him. Now, it's time for you "centrists" to take the advice you gave the rest of us and stfu and vote blue no matter who.

Be sure to dismiss me as a "Bernie bro" for challenging your ridiculous statements.

Comeon NeverTrump, I have some issues with Bernie myself, but he's no Trump. Not in a million years, and his supporters are NOT Trump supporters. Last I checked his supporters are NOT cheerleading for him alongside Neo nazi's and white nationalists at his rallies (like Trump's did), and Sanders entire political career wasn't based on race and birtherism like Trump's was.

What are there maybe 34 people in America who at this point cares what Hillary thinks, after she has failed us so...

Running for President has been referred to as a proctoscopy more than once. That said, it does not seem to have let people die out of negligence or committed several thousand felonies like Hillary. It should not get much worse.

He's upset his favorite oligarch, Bloomberg doesn't stand a chance so he's lashing out with hyperbole and theatrics. These "Bloom-Bros" can be pretty toxic.

I'm not a Bloomberg fan, but even he's not as bad as Trump. Hell, proof of that is Bloomberg could have easily waited until 2024, ran as a Republican using the same tactics Trump did (and unlike Trump, Bloomberg is actually a successful business man), and easily won the GOP nomination (because let's face it, a significant portion of GOP voters are dolts). Truth is, nobody on the Democrats side is as bad as Trump, and if the Democrats stay divided, Trump will win (it's the only way he can win, and he, the GOP, and the GOP voters know it)

No, but they are cheer-leading him to be a king, and to ignore hard questions, and facts.

I've never been a fan of Bernie Sanders.

I wouldn't expect a Bloom-Bro to be one. Just hold your nose and vote for him anyway like I did after you shoved an unwinnable Hillary down our throats.

Bernie may or may not get M4A passed, but at least he's trying and not just giving up like the centrists.

So, I see I should not ask Bernie Sanders [Trump] any hard questions... Check!

Dude, if Sanders wins the nomination, it's either him, or 4 more years of a race baiting mobbed up sack of **** and his thugs in the GOP running the show. It's your call.

That remains to be seen. You guys are still acting like this is all but over.

I'm not even a Sanders supporter. I'm just saying if he does win it, the choice is clear, at least for me. Trump and his thugs need to be evicted from power as soon as possible.

You're not asking hard questions, you're just insulting him while comparing him to Trump because you're sour your guy couldn't win over the voters. Get over it, buttercup, we've got a big orange troll to defeat.

You ignored the fact that I want his supporters to take a hard look at how Trump will handle Bernie Sanders and if he slips in the polls after Super Tuesday, you and your lot will be going on and on about how there was a DNC conspiracy to stop Bernie, like you've done for years. You can't even do that much soul searching.

I do agree that Trump and the GOP propaganda machine will hit Sanders hard, but let's face it, Trump and the GOP will paint any Democratic nominee as a socialist/communist/pro-illegal immigration, hates white people, etc. Doesn't matter who wins the nomination.

You never questioned Hillary's electability when you pushed her on us. Things have changed and the rules aren't the same anymore. People want a leader that's inspiring and actually tries to make improvements. The status quo is out. I just want you to feel every bit as dirty as I did voting for such a miserable candidate as Hillary in 2016.

Whether the Republicans prevent his agenda from being implemented or not, AT LEAST HE'S TRYING.

I will say this. I'm not surprised at the rise of Sanders and the far left. It's an inevitable backlash to the rise of Trump (who's not even a conservative), and the far right. If Sanders is not elected president, eventually someone just as left wing (if not more left wing than Sanders) will be elected president, and the GOP and it's voters will have nobody to blame but themselves.

Trump is going to call any Dem a "socialist". I don't think there's any room in the middle to grab from. Trump succeeded by exciting the GOP base, and now the only one I see exciting the Dems is Bernie. So if Bernie excites the base, let him have at it. Hell, he's built a movement, so there's something to build on.

Dude, I wasn't even a Democrat back then and I questioned Hillary's electability, when I didn't vote for her. To me bernie's record isn't inspiring and he's made no improvements whatsoever to the system except to benefit him. He's just leading the gullible to more disappointment.

I agree on one thing, The Democrats should own all the names the GOP give them, for it pails in comparison to the names that we should be calling them. Democrats are losing the information-cyber war terribly. Yet, I don't even know if Bernie Sanders knows how to use a computer. We can only hope that the right people tell him to do the right things, and IDK if he will.

And who is your candidate then? Who of this group do you see exciting Americans to get to the polls? Hell, I'd prefer Warren, but Warren like the others obviously can't get people motivated and out to the polling place. You're someone complaining without a better solution.

Bernie has been scrutinized since the Reagan years.

What other candidates in the history of the United States have been pressed for their medical records? FDR had full-blown GBS and no one batted an eye.

For me personally, Bernie Sanders checks off a lot of the things that I don't like about Trump and his cult-like supporters:

What an eye-roller of a statement. Having a passionate base that will get up and out to vote, canvas, and donate is incredibly valuable. As much as you can hate on Trump's base, they had a ground campaign much stronger than the Democrats.

Populist con artist promises - check.

Populism isn't an inherently good or evil political framework. Trump is putting brown children in cages, Bernie wants to make sure everyone can see a doctor. Hardly the same thing.

Main campaign promise is medicare for all which like the wall is unattainable in the congress

So then what do you propose a candidate run on if not policy? Trump ran on policy, and guess what. He won. It's honestly mind-numbing how many of the "Never Trumpers" are failing to learn literally anything at all from 2016.

Silencing of dissent - check.

When has Bernie ever silenced critics?

Taking over a party - (in progress).

Good. The Democratic party has been an ineffectual, do-nothing party for decades. It's about time it either grows with the times or burns to the ground. They've done more to empower Donald Trump than the working class people they claim to represent. You were a Republican prior to 2016, whether it be 2020, or 2024, you're going to leave this party for the next Republican scumbag so why should they bother to cater to your vote?

The GOP may be strong enough to survive after Trump, but will the Democrats hold there noses and not only vote for Bernie Sanders, but passionately support everything he says and does just because he's their useful idiot?

The GOP did for Trump, and they got 2 years of majorities in all three branches, with two lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court. So yeah, the Democrats better learn to take their medicine. Luckily for them, it'll be completely covered under Medicare For All.
