As San Fran Streets Fill with Human Waste, Grocery Store Aisle Turns Into Toilet

In San Francisco, the smell of progress is in the air.Unfortunately for residents of the City by the Bay, this isn’t the bouquet of economic success or technological innovation, but the stench of human waste. It’s no secret that the streets and sidewalks of San Francisco function as a virtual open toilet for the city’s massive population of homeless people and drug addicts, but with no clean place to take care of business, some are now turning to the once-pristine aisles of grocery stores.

Aw, yes, the bluest state of them all showing the country just how great liberalism is and how successful liberal policies are.

"once-pristine aisles of grocery stores."

Okay, that's pushing it but I get the point.

Yes, it's nasty but personally if I see someone ****ting on the floor, the last thing I'd do is stick around and take a picture. Imagine showing a picture to a someone and they swipe over to some random taking a ****.

According to a Dec. 15 tweet from journalist Deborah Kan, one drugged-out man was caught defiling the floor of a Safeway store in the city.

Well there you are, a single data point, good enough for a Conservative argument!

Here's the real problem California is the bluest state in the nation, a state that if it were its own country would have one of the largest GDP's in the world yet none of that is getting to the people as they lead the nation in poverty, homelessness, wage gap, polluted cities, cost of living and yet this is what the left wants for the rest of the country.

You don't appease people who will not work and provide for themselves you promote tough love. I always loved visiting the state of California but what has happened there over the past decade is disgusting and justification for never electing a liberal for public office again and yet California hasn't had a Republican legislature since the 60's

San Francisco has city crews who's job it is to respond to citizen complaints and go and clean up urine and turds off the street. True story.

This is a place were a working man's 1950's two bedroom can sell for over a million dollars.

The cost of liberalism on full display, liberalism is NEVER free

The fruits of liberalism.

Funny, I guess the people of Cali. enjoy this sort of thing.

After-all they DO continually elect extremely liberal progressives to run their great - once great ? - state ....

Apparently so but the real problem is when you buy votes thus creating dependence you get people who will never bite the hand that feeds them. The Problem in California remains the major population areas and not the entire state

Exactly how is this homelessness situation a consequence of liberalism?

More "single data points" as once again you cannot accept any responsibility for the failures of liberalism
Uh, those are NOT images of people relieving themselves in GROCERY STORES in SF. Your post EMPHASIZED that it has gotten so bad that people poop in Safeways.

This has ALWAYS been a problem for you in any argument concerning data, you make claims, you don't have the data....so you broaden your argument, otherwise known as "moving the goalpost".

The reason people, including the homeless, move to SF (and the West Coast in general)....is because of the weather. It is why property prices are so high, which in turn makes homelessness a bigger problem.

You REALLY need to get over your California envy, it has been going on for too long.

No, they are images of what California has become under liberal leadership. You keep making excuses for the failures of liberalism as there is no compassion in these pictures even though spending in the name of compassion makes you feel good. You create dependence and that provides power to the elite which is what liberalism really is all about

I have no envy for California, I feel sorry for the people there duped by the failed liberal ideology promoted by radicals who use people for their own personal gain. Apparently you aren't capable of understanding that reality

there is a reason I have ignored you and you are proving that I was right in making that choice

oh i see, homelessness "provides power" to the "elite"!

wow

There you go again with this insane idea that homeless people provide power to some "elite". You can't explain the mechanism....but it sounds good.....to you.

And yes, for years you have gone on and on comparing CA to everywhere, it is an obsession, you and I have had many arguments where you obsess.

there is a reason I have ignored you and you are proving that I was right in making that choice
The reason is because you make these absurd posts, I call you out, show your errors.....and you can't handle em. So I guess yer gunna hide yer eyes for another year or 2....who knows.

And the beat goes on. Stay in that bubble of yours as you are clueless as to what is going on around you. How can a state with one of the largest GDP's in the world lead the country in poverty, homeless, have the worst quality of life, among the highest cost of living, 6 of the top 10 polluted cities, largest wage gap? Liberalism on full display

True.

Why do the big cities choose this ?

It MUST be great ! There MUST be an unseen benefit that I'm not aware of to this.

This can be applied from a farther away perspective of the entire country. Huge population centers tend towards ONE way of thinking.

It's like the people become herd animals, followers all thinking and doing the same.

Odd that it's these same herds always telling us about diversity & tolerance etc etc. It seems that diversity is NOT allowed and tolerance is non-existent in these human ant-hills.

Why I wonder ?

And the beat goes on. Stay in that bubble of yours as you are clueless as to what is going on around you.
I doubt that, I've lived next door and in CA....ALL MY LIFE. Besides, you haven't argued anything yet.

How can a state with one of the largest GDP's in the world lead the country in poverty
I have no idea what numbers you are using, because you are not making an argument, but according to a recent US Census survey, CA is 33rd, better than AZ or TX, been like that for quite a while. The reason is primarily due to the large number of poor residents that work in AG, outside of the urban centers. I don't think you can put the blame for AG getting cheap labor on "liberals". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have a sizable cheap labor force in TX too? Because, I know it exists in this state too, and AZ can't be considered a "liberal" state....yet.

I already covered homelessness, I bet you forgot that!

have the worst quality of life
I have no idea where you get that, it has some of the highest priced RE in the world. That is a function of demand. I suppose liberals can take some of the "blame" for that!

among the highest cost of living
Again, a result of demand, see above.

6 of the top 10 polluted cities
An example, Bakersfield, the worst, due to "short term particulates", ie dust....from......wait for it...farming. Modesto...same San Joaquin Valley, like the Sun Valley here, gets inversions. Texans don't because you have no mountain valleys to speak of with AG and/or the largest metroplexes.

largest wage gap?
Now see, this is pure CA envy! If you just had a larger population of the highest earners, you could claim that title.....and it would be easier since TX has worse rates of poverty!

Liberalism on full display
If you say so.

....and?

Apparently so but the real problem is when you buy votes thus creating dependence you get people who will never bite the hand that feeds them. The Problem in California remains the major population areas and not the entire state
Thats funny, because your issues with CA that you spewed at me are nearly all a result of issues OUTSIDE of the urban areas. Pollution, poverty levels, wage inequality...those are due to rural/AG area issues. Pollution in urban areas is due to population concentration and economic activity....that is not unique to CA, nor is homelessness....nor is it unique to "liberal" areas.

This is why I believe in a more moderate approach. Californians will gloat about being better than the worst red states, yet when a state goes too far to the left, it becomes terrible as well.

I doubt that, I've lived next door and in CA....ALL MY LIFE. Besides, you haven't argued anything yet.

Also overtaxing people also contributes to that as well.

Well, lemme tell you, the biggest shock to me was property taxes, and of course that can all be blamed on prop 13.....and Jarvis was no liberal.

Glad this was brought up and it's good Conservative shined the light on this problem. This could be my town and yours if the liberal/Demos takes hold.We all know homelessness is a problem and in some cases its growing. There are establishments having restrooms are not letting anyone use them unless they purchase the products. There are fast food markets using daily combination numbers on the receipts if the customer wants to use them. Homeless people do not have any money so where will they go to relieve themselves ? The prior regime knew this was a growing problem and done nothing about it so they pass the problem to the Trump administration along with local municipalities.
liberal/Demos...gotta love em.

More bull****.

I was in SF a couple months ago for a concert at Davies Hall. I had to walk from the BART station on Market and Turk to Gough and Van Ness. Pretty much the outer Tenderloin. I saw ZERO human feces and ZERO needles on the six blocks I walked. There was some of what looked like vomit outside a drinking establishment - which could occur in any place. And probably some pee on some walls. OMG.

It is true that homelessness in California has exploded in the past 10 years or so. And that the more progressive cities (SF, Berkeley, etc) have tried to take a compassionate, humanist approach to it. So the homeless are more visible in these communities. And Reagan's shut down of state mental hospitals and turning the mentally ill out on the streets has compounded the problem. What would Jesus say? Feed the poor? Or stomp them out of existence?

Your choice.
