Looks like basis of Impeachment Article One is evaporating.

Article One alleged that Trump abused his power by coercing Ukraine to investigate a political rival. So far Biden is bombing; fourth in Iowa, fifth in NH. His odds of ever becoming Trump's rival are between zilch and nonexistent.

So, seeing as the Dums never proved extortion, nor even a deal. Given that Trump IS authorized by treaty to investigate possible corruption. And given that Biden is NOT a political rival, Trump is de facto not guilty of Impeachment Article 1.

As far as Article 2 Obstruction of Congress. I'd submit the House was more guilty than Trump. :lamo
 
Article two was a political ambush which was why Article 1 went nowhere on witnesses and documents. If the Senate had greenlighted them, the Dems would have been arguing that act alone was proof Trump had obstructed them so there was no way the GOP could deny he was guilty.

So just because Biden is not in #1 spot now does not mean he was not at the time of the committed extortion. Check the polls for many months before (and after) summer of 2019.

Opinion polls don't mean squat - Biden's competition was the other Democult hopefuls; he was never Trump's opponent.

Biden didn't win lily white states. Therefore, Trump is innocent.

Yeah, that makes sense.
