All Republicans need is a good video editor for all the campaign ads that will be fed into every household across the Nation next year.

The Dems have produced everything that is necessary for those ad.

It really is pretty amazing how they push forward on this.

I think the IG report today will mostly be a dud... but even putting in writing what is already known about the Obama administration's investigation into then-candidate Trump using Russian propaganda will just underscore the idiocy of this Democrat impeachment nonsense.

While not all our California-based Trumpers lie outside my sphere, some of them have absolutely proved themselves REALLY STUPID.

We can probably agree on the likelihood of: 1. The House impeaching Trump. 2. The Senate not convicting him. 3. In 2020, California's 55 EVs going to the Anti-Trump candidate.

Nadler remains in control of today's hearing in spite of the efforts of Gohmert and others to disrupt the hearing.

Nadler proved himself the moronic rube that he is right out of the gate.

He claims the opening statements were given by witnesses, and therefore, the liberal hacks attacks and insults against the President aren't subject to rules of decorum. He then says they haven't been sworn in because they are not witnesses.

I agree. In fact, I think the central and most damning finding of the IG report was that the FBI investigation into Carter Page was in fact predicated on the Steele Dossier, contrary to the testimony Comey, McCabe etc. and the Democrats and the News Media "unnamed officials".

That central reality proves that the entire scandal was the product of Russian propaganda fed to Hillary Clinton campaign and various never-Trumpers... none of whom, including the FBI investigators, bothered to even check if the provable accusations were true before using them.

The FBI investigation was, in fact, the greatest Russian disinformation campaign success of the 2016 election.

You can't make the Republicans obey the rules.

He has to be very careful to maintain order, while not giving the Republicans any meat to claim they're being persecuted, which is a hard line to walk.

What we're seeing here is just Republicans losing their minds. They know that they are in the same position that Democrats were 20 years ago, when the Republicans had the power to do a party-line impeachment proceeding against Clinton in 1998 and tabled a censure vote, and the Democrats were powerless to stop them.

When the impeachment articles are drafted, there will be no procedural tricks or point of orders that can stop them. There will be nothing the Republicans can do.

They will be in the position Democrats were in during Kavanaugh, Garland, and the Clinton impeachment, and for once the Democrats will take their use of the majority to the limits and give the Republicans, the Republican treatment.

You hadn't read the entire report at the time you were posted about it either. Nobody had. I read that paragraph you kept posting, and like a few other posters, told you that it didn't say what you wanted it to say. I never challenged you on "talking points fed to them by their usual fake news sources", as you claim here.

How many lies did you tell in a single day? Pathetic.
