This thread is about the folks who either voted for Trump or almost voted for trump either in the primary or the general election, but who somewhere along the way, changed their minds and decided he was not worthy enough to keep their support and not the President they thought he might become. This thread is not about those who continue to support him. Its not about those who never did support him. Its about those who once were trumpsters, but no longer are.

Maybe you voted for him over Hillary and now regret it. Maybe you still think that he was the lesser of those evils, but won't vote for him again. Maybe you supported him but became disillusioned by his Charlottesville comments, or his inability to replace Obamacare, or maybe you expected you'd see some 'grand bargain' legislation that he could negotiate, or maybe you are pissed we still have troops in Syria, and Iraq, and Afghanistan . You may have decided to vote Democrat this time, or Libertarian, or just sit this next one out.

I never come across your posts here. I want to know if there are any disillusioned Trumpsters on this forum, and exactly what soured you on Trump.

The problem is...this time I'd vote against him if you liberals could get your heads out of your collective asses and actually nominate a VIABLE candidate.

This country NEEDS checks & balances (focus on "balances"). The further your party lurches to the left, the more they alienate centrists and righties. The "democrat" party (parenthesis because they're hardly democratic anymore) has metamorphed into some kind of neo-fascist wannabe cult. They don't want checks & balances. They want unchecked totalitarian control.

Guns? Only by government.
Religion? Government will tell you how to pray.
Education? Government will teach you.
Personal beliefs? Government will tell you what to believe.

See a trend here? Until your party stops trying to turn this country into Fascist Italy where oppressive governmental control puts its jackboot on its citizens, then maybe the rest of us will put a little trust in it.

Oh...and this years' long witch hunt isn't helping either. Stop whining and vote him out if you don't like him.

It was in paragraph #3 that it became obvious that you're a scared stiff lifelong Republican who has never voted for a Democrat and never will. Let's see if you can figure out what gave you away, you know, the point where your visceral hatred of anything not Republican overshadowed your attempt at being a fake would-be Dem voter "if only the right CONSERVATIVE would take over the party".

Nice try, if being lame is nice, that is.

You just go ahead and stick with Trump. We knew you were going to anyway.

Actually, I voted for Bill Clinton twice, but thanks for sucking at perception.

I don't believe you, see if you can figure out what gave your thin ruse away. It's you who sucks at being a fake Democrat.
Now go vote for Trump so we can watch you write your manifesto when he loses.

I almost voted for Trump in the 2016 General Election. While I admit that Trump is a used car salesman, he's still better than any of the Democrat contenders. I hate being put in this position. Trump was the first time I voted for a Presidential candidate that wasn't a Republican. One reason I refused to vote for Trump was the shoddy treatment he gave Ted Cruz.

I've been a Republican since 1980. I never voted for a Democrat in my life.

The first time I didn't vote for someone under the Republican column was in November of 2016 when I voted for Gary Johnson. I wouldn't vote for Trump for anything.

And now, thanks to Trump, I think I may vote for the Democrats for the rest of my life.

Ummmmmm, I don't believe he said he was ever a democrat. He said he voted for Bill Clinton twice. I voted for Bill Clinton the second time, Al Gore after that, and Obama the second time. I consider myself to be an Independent, although a long time ago I actually was a Democrat. The left have gone bat crazy to the left, so much so that even though I didn't vote for Trump in the primary or in the general, I may actually vote for him in 2020 because I don't want socialism, PC and SJW bull**** and a MeToo movement that allows false accusations to destroy people's lives. Any person coming forward with accusations is labeled a victim and the accused is guilty until proven innocent.

If Tulsi Gabbard is the candidate, I'll vote for her. Swear on my mother's grave.
If you pick anyone else in that sad bunch of uber-leftists, I'll go Trump.

YOU decide.
