I still maintain there is no way to successfully disparage a political opponent standing next to Trump on a debate stage. There's literally nothing that can be said disparagingly, that we already know Trump had done way worse.
Good luck with Trump & the GOP trying trying to take the "high road" tact! :lamo
Had a discussion a few months back on this. I was saying the same, that crucifying him on the debate stage seems so easy, I mean...you'd have too much good material, you'd have to limit it to just the big/easy ones. And by big, I mean more than thinking you have Native American heritage...felons, backing Putin in Helsinki, hiring your kids who failed security clearance...you know, matters of national importance..intentional stuff too. All he'd have is name-calling, it would be obvious.
But my wife laughed and said Trump will never go on a debate stage now that he's no longer able to hide behind the "no history to judge him on" part of his con. So I always wonder now, will Trump really ever get on a debate stage now, or will it be "I won't support that network, they were mean to me so screw them" cop-out because he knows he'd get juiced?
