I have heard on this forum that being a liberal is worse than being a nazi and a pedophile. Yet no one on the right has been able to accurately tell me why that is. What laws specifically have the liberals proposed that are worse than baby ****ing and exterminating entire populations of people in gas chambers? What is it about progressives that you find so terrifying?

Yup, out of all the things to complain about in the world, today my boss picks out a story about NYC PROPOSING a requirement that forces you to get a license to ride a bike on city streets. No mention of sharpiegate.

I've seen bike couriers in NYC, the proposal is a sensible one given the environment those cyclists wind up in.

Some people thrive on grievance. They have to have an enemy, and since they are good the enemy has to be evil. That way they can feel righteous. It's quite common, but don't expect rationality from this bunch.

Nothing wrong with liberals who respect the voting rights, speech rights, and generally the Constitutional rights of all individuals. True liberals, are in general, the people who mind their own business when it comes to the God given rights of others.
It's my way or the highway illiberals masquerading as tolerant liberals who are the problem. Those who think their rights trump mine...These people are political far left extremists; zealots comparable to the evangelical busy bodies who think it is their duty to project and legislate their morality onto the collective.

Maybe I am naive but I've never heard anyone refer to liberals as worse than Nazis or pedophiles.

Progressivism is a garbage ideology based on political correctness, virtue signalling, social "justice", bashing white people, hostility to markets and capitalism, nanny statism, identity politics, racial quotas, gaia worship, social engineering via taxes and government regulation and banning the most effective means of self-defense ever created.

In short, the political left is nothing but a toxic pile of you-know-what.

I wouldn't know, I'm not a big Trump fan. I did vote for him, and I'll vote for him again in 2020. In my view the best thing he did was stop progressivism, and he did that the moment he won the election. I wish he would just golf every day.

It's not the acceptance of the definitions, it's the making up definitions to suit one's narratives that is the problem. One poster already done that on the first page.

It depends on your definition of progressive. Lately it has meant some of the most insensitive, intolerance the country has ever seen. Traditional nuclear families are belittled. Faith is attacked. fringe values are promoted as mainstream, while old-school values are denigrated. It is elitism run wild.
