I'm actually glad these people are speaking out. W/e works to escape the cult. If you don't like that he curses and that ends your support for Trump so be it snowflakes.

A Trump-supporting West Virginia state senator who represents many evangelicals got three phone calls from constituents complaining about Trump’s profanity after a recent rally.

“The third phone call is when I actually went and watched his speech because each of them sounded distraught,” said Hardesty, who describes himself as a conservative Democrat.

Here’s what he would have seen. Trump crowing, “they'll be hit so goddamn hard,” while bragging about bombing Islamic State militants. And Trump recounting his warning to a wealthy businessman: “If you don't support me, you're going to be so goddamn poor.”

‘Using the Lord’s name in vain’: Evangelicals chafe at Trump’s blasphemy

Hmm... will that make them vote for Joe "big ****ing deal" Biden instead?

Probably not...but here's hoping they at least help choose a different Republican leader in the primaries.

That is good news. I hope he keeps the goddamns coming and loses some of his Evangelical support.

They probably don't watch TV, either.

Um they called complaining about the speeches they watching on TV to their political leader, but he wasn't the one who was watching...I wonder why...Evangelicals aren't amish. Did you even read the article?

Oh no not that.

jesus h christ, the left is triggered.

Actually, the thread appears to be about triggered Republicans, and triggered by Trump, no less.

Hope this helps to clear things up! :)

Well no OlNate.

This propaganda piece is designed to trigger liberals. One Senator and three people who called him, and that means all Evangelicals are upset.

But I can see by your post the OP has elicited the desired effect.

Moths to a flame.

Oddly in this culture, the F-bomb is not as offensive to Christians as G-damn. It is a sin to take God's name. Dropping F bombs, while crass, is not. **** is an obscenity, not a profanity.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the left. Nothing.

But of course it does.

Just propaganda.

Three people called a Senator, and that means all Evangelicals are upset with the President.

No rational thinking person would buy that.

But the triggered left is certainly proving they are.

Humorous.

Oh yeah? Interested to see what in my post is false? This thread is about triggered Republicans. Change my mind. :lamo

It's got you on the defensive.

The Christians no longer care about the Ten Commandments. They no longer care about adultery. They no longer care about perversion. They no longer care about lack of character. They no longer care about lack of family values. They no longer care that someone isn't really a Christian. They support Trump. They can take their fake "I don't like it when he uses the Lord's name in vain" **** and shove it.

Not likely, better to hope that Biden does not win the DNC primary.

Not all of us support Trump. You're right about those who do.

I wouldn't dare think I could change the mind of a Progressive Ideologue.

You are welcome to cling to whatever you're told to believe.

I've simply pointed out the intellectual fallacy of claiming three phone calls to a Senator means all Evangelicals are upset with the President.

And BTW, where does it say these evangelicals are Republicans, as you've claimed?

Care to explain how three phone calls from people who Politico has concluded were evangelicals means all evangelicals are upset, and care to explain how anyone knows they are Republicans?

Help me understand how the Progressive mind processes this kind of information.
