I tend to agree. However, it is a sad state of affairs when those who hope to lead our nation are judged/elected by who best slings mud, as opposed to doing his/her best to unite the country, call for national civility and tolerance, and enact ideas and policies that will make life better, and safer, for as many Americans as possible.

My dog would be a better president than Trump..

I know that's the right's wet dream, but the truth is that he looks good. He's at a healthy weight. His skin is bright. He moves well. He speaks energetically. He doesn't have irritating repeating speech patterns and phrases when he's off the teleprompter. Nice contrast with Trump.

The guy has lost his fastball. He 76, and will be ~ 77 if elected, and 81 when he runs for a second term. So we will have ghosts running the government like we did when Reagan got Alzheimers. BUt his started in the last part of his term. Joe is disassembling from age related dementia already.

He's unfortunately the only viable the dem's have.

Post a link to show us that the Dayton shooter killed his sister and a few other innocent people because of Warren's "hate mongering ranting, talking of imminent end of the human race if Republicans are not eliminated and calling for bold, radical action".

Biden's speech was pretty good. Well spoken and from the heart. I'll vote for him if he's the nominee but he isn't my preference.

I have done comparisons of casualties on the forum in the last few days - the comparison of casualties of mass murder by a gun to the number of casualties by other methods of mass murder in the USA.

The most deadly mass shooting deaths do not even come close to other methods. Virtually every other method of mass murder is vastly more lethal than with guns and for which there is there is no possibility of defending yourself or others.

For example, if someone opens up on a crowd you are in with a rapid fire high velocity rifle, statistically you are very highly like to live. You probably will successfully flee. You may have opportunity to defend yourself one way or another. Even if you are shot, the odds better that you will live than you will die.

You can not flee a bomb or a deliberately set fire to trap people. There is no possibility you can defend yourself. The odds you will die if hit by the explosion or unable to escape the fire are very low. How would you flee, stop or survive someone flying in one or more drones with a bomb?

There has always been mass murderers in the entire known history of the world. Only a truly total idiot, really naive foolish person living in non-reality, believes eliminating "assault style weapons" will end mass murder.
In FACT, we know the death count will go up by other methods and that defending against them is not possible.
