you said we need PH.D's from S.. hole countries as if Trump was against that. Obviously he is against 30 million more illegals with 2-3 years of school taking our jobs when low income Americans have not had a wage increase for 30 years. Now do you understand? How you express yourself is as important as the substance of your comment. Do you think Trump would have faced the same blowback had he phrased his comment better? If I go to your house and say "Man, this place could definitely use a good cleaning" would you react the same if instead I say "what a friggin' disaster man! This is disgusting!". Both imply being unkempt, but one makes the point without being offensive. If you choose to be offensive, then expect a hostile reaction.

James, I think that Theodore Roosevelt summed up the immigration issue very well. Theodore Roosevelt was a nationalist, however, he was an American nationalist. He wasn't against immigration, but he did state that those who wish to immigrate to America should become Americans, for in this country we have no room for dual loyalties, we have only one flag. If an immigrant wishes to become an American then they will be extended all the right of an American, if they wish to remain separated from the from the American culture then they should return from where they came. In other words we are all Americans first.

He referred to white Americans as the forward race, whose responsibility it was to raise the status of minorities through training the backward race in industrial efficiency, political capacity and domestic morality. Thus, he claimed whites bore the burden of preserving the high civilization wrought out by its forefathers.

the belief that any policy regarding national security / immigration is racist is the biggest crock of ****. Policies are created to address economic and security issues.. the race of the people is moot. If Canadians were swarming in illiegally, then we would probably build a wall on our northern border..

Everyone under 40 years old has been successfully indoctrinated to accept everyone, literally I don't have a single friend or acquaintance that has a racist bone in their body. But by supporting a border wall to stop illegal immigration and the resulting economic cost of people not paying taxes, all of a sudden i'm a bigot. I'm Italian, and if it was italy on our southern border, I would still support the border wall.

When Trump got elected. We have never had a president who was so obviously and aggressively an adulterer, liar, cheater, illiterate, and poor speaker. Accepting him is a great insult to America and all we stand for. His policies, though, are are generally traditional main stream and far better than the libcommieNazi socialist policies the Democrats are now proposing.

Trump doesn't care what the immigrants look like. We have people illegally entering our country from the southern border... yes, they are going to look like and be called "Mexicans," or "Guatamalans,"... etc. because that's what they are, same as calling someone from canada a canadian! an estimated few thousand illiegal canadian immigrants crossed into america last year, while 76,000 south american illiegal immigrants crossed the southern border in one month. If you were running a country, would you not think to address the bigger issue?

If i were president, would I streamline the immigration process? yes. Would i give current illiegal immigrants in the country a limited grace period (1 year/ 2 years) to file for citizenship? yes. But without securing the border, the problem continues indefinitely. It's like bailing water from a sinking ship before trying to fix the hole. Eliminate the word "Race" from your vocabulary, imagine everyone looked identical. We have 76,000people illiegally entering over the southern border which we all have to pay for. You're saying if they looked exactly like us that we would do nothing? that's crazy.

If we had the same problem on the northern border, we would absolutely address it the same way! It doesn't matter a person's color, language, education level. the problem is that they don't pay taxes! Assuming that race is the driving factor of our immigration policies is a failed attempt of taking the moral high-ground. It's naiive to push the narrative that any true business tycoon like Trump would even care what the person's race is. I've worked closely with conservatives in the blue-collar world and white collar world, those ttypically vilified as "Racist," for supporting Trump's immigration policies, and they all have one thing in common: There's nothing personal in the business world. Those guys care about the bottom line, and will do business with anyone that gives them the best price, and who do good work. Rampant racism is a story created by those who have no idea how to run a business. Intelligent business-people make difficult decisions based on the dollar, not by their emotional opinion of the person.

It's nothing personal, it's not racist, it's business.
