Williamson Rising in NH

Marianne Williamson the new age wonder-chick is getting some sorta love in New Hampshire. The latest poll puts her in front of the following politicians: Booker, Gabbard, Gillibrand, Inslee, and Beto O'Rourke. I predicted that she will easily get into the Sept debates. I predict that she already has the wino mom and crazy cat lady votes. The question is, will she get more, and could she actually fight hate with love and win it all? It will be veryinteresting to see if she has similar Trump rise in the polls. B/c if NH is any indication, and I've seen some of her campaign stuff... 2016 may be happening again all over again. :shock:

If 2016 were happening all over again, Biden would win. Trump led with a plurality in the polls since the minute he entered the race. People thought eventually the rest would coalesce around someone else, but they never did. Similarly I’ve seen many pundits say progressives will eventually coalesce against a non-Biden.

But Trump never had 2%.

Ok fine. Bush led for 3 polls after Trump announced, after which Trump led in every poll but 4 (Carson, Carson, Carson, and Cruz) for the rest of the race and Trump led in the average the entire time, with the exception of one day tied with Carson.

But I think that's a ridiculous thing to correct me on. Once Trump was an established candidate, he led the entire time. Trump was leading the polls within a month, and even in those 3 polls after he announced where Bush led, he had double digit support. Marianne Williamson has been in this race for five and a half months, and you are posting about her getting 2% in a single New Hampshire poll.

Hmm... she is the "clear winner" (at about 2%?) among the bottom polling DNC POTUS candidates in your (OP linked) poll. That was never the polling position of Trump during the 2016 RNC POTUS race except very briefly (for about 3 weeks?) after Trump announced his candidacy in mid June of 2015.
