Mayor Pete @ The Debate

He took responsibility for it. If people turn their backs on him for this reason, it will refute any notion that people want anything other than a typical politician.

Sadly most americans don't have much of a clue when it comes to voting. They see clips here and there during commercial time of their favorite shows and that's how they make up their minds. It really is mostly political junkies who follow the insanity of government and have any clue as to policies. Truthfully, everything a candidate promises is mostly bs because as informed people are aware, it takes congress to agree.

I like pete. He seems much more honest than most and less defensive and he's smart and doesn't appear to have a huge ego.

Could you give an example of his lack of civility?

The only candidate talking about compromise is Biden, but it seems clear that, like Obama, he will not find anyone to compromise with. And with the former GOP House, the GOP Senate and GOP president, there is no one else interested in compromising. Ccompromising involves two parties and at this point, he is the only one at the table.

Compromise is essential to democracy, so I respect and endorse Biden's desire to do this, but this country is so polarized, it is all but impossible. This brings up a question, is Biden hopelessly out of touch? Is he attempting a liberal version of "Make America Great again?" If so, will he, like Trump, take a hammer to bang a square peg into a round hole and create nothing but a mess? Or is he a shining light in a sea of partisanship?

I can.
As a campaign kickoff Butt picked a religious fight with Pence out of nowhere.
And since then Butt has demonstrated through his words that if you don't agree with him you're a bad person.

Question, does being a closet Marxist hoping to implement Marxist policies qualify as incivility? Pre-incivility maybe? Ya know, because you can't do it yet. But if one day you can, oh baby watch out.

Saw an article where Buttegg was speaking with Jesse Jackson's group. Guess he was either getting his marching orders or groveling to Jesse and his fellow race-baiting minions for money.
