Among black voters, 59% think life for young blacks has gotten worse under Trump
Given that Obama revived a lot of hatred of brown people into the mainstream, I would have to say this is kind of true. Republicans will never get over this Kenyan Antichrist.
WOW! Extraordinary, Obama was responsible for your family not doing well because only blacks were helped by him. That's about the most idiotic thing I've heard on this board. Ever heard of the Great Recession?I recall when Obama was president, my family, since it was white, was poor and destitute during those years. Obama's policies helped blacks and not whites.
Link to this nonsense? The media says that the more successful I am, the poorer blacks must get.
Yet Trump is arguing that this is the BEST time EVER for blacks and Hispanics among other minority demographics, so wouldn't that mean you'd be doing worse NOW. Given, in your Merchantilist world there is only this zero-sum game of give and take. This means that the more successful blacks are, the less successful I am. This is what happened to me during Obama.
Okay, please tell me this whole post is a joke and I just overreacted. When Trump took office, I got rich as a direct result of his anti-black policies. My family is no longer poor because of Trump's anti-black laws. Thanks Trump! Sadly, if a democrat gets in office in 2020, blacks will be rich again like they were under Obama, and I'll lose everything.

Okay, so it's an idiotic screed that ignores the worst recession since the Great Depression.Your last three words are correct. The rest, not so much.
The poll merely states the obvious. Employment and income are better for black now than any time from 2009-2016. Facts like that matter.
So, forget Obama's first term and blame it on Bush. It's excessive but it's done all the time. Trump has still been better than during Obama's second term.Okay, so it's an idiotic screed that ignores the worst recession since the Great Depression.
That's the Capitalist business cycle, neither president deserves credit for the economy. So, forget Obama's first term and blame it on Bush. It's excessive but it's done all the time. Trump has still been better than during Obama's second term.

I think much of it is actually debt related growth, which will only be temporary until the next major recession hits. Yes, perhaps the tax cuts did buy some extra months before the next recession, but that's not what they sold it as, and we can only know if it was worth it on the other side of the next recession. We are now unable to really use QE like we did last time, to prop things up, we never got out of recovery rates and the market can't handle going back to business as usual. This is a Capitalism problem, and the polarization in this country is crippling our response to addressing the situation seriously.I am close to agreeing with this. My reservation is that the tax reform has more lasting impact than anything since the monetary/banking reforms of the 1980s.
The US just got its latest sign that the manufacturing sector is slowing down | Markets InsiderThe largely unexpected 3.1% growth in 2019 1st Quarter was driven by increased exports.
I don't think that's true, I think that's again a result of the business cycle. Labor markets started to get tighter, wages increased to attract talent, leading to more hiring, which of course benefits white people and minorities, duh. Perhaps Trump can be credited with extending the inevitable crash with this action, but will it really setup us up better for the next recession? My bet is that on the other side this will not be seen as worth it, when inequality really starts to get out of hand, because of this top down economic system. The tax law also put more money in minority pockets than the Stimulus, but that's largely non repeating.

It was satirical - I was trying to demonstrate that personal effort and behavior is the primary driver of success. The concept that a president is "for" one race and "against" another is ludicrous, but a lot of people seem to believe this.
The Obama administration was worse for all Americans. Jihadists, on the other hand, loved Obama's policies. It's cool that we can talk about this. Now who was better for white Americans? Or is that a bad thing?
Those who look at their wallet despite what CNN tells them will certainly respond in the affirmative.Trump routinely said during the campaign to the black community "what do you have to lose"? This time he can ask "are you better off?"
