Now the rumor is that NYC mayor DeBlasio(sp?) is declaring tomorrow. 23 & me? What is the thought process here? Mark Cuban is being coy, what do two dozen candidates do, but drown each other out?

Bit of a feeding frenzy, but we learned it from watching the GOP, so we can hope it works out a well as it did for them in 2016.

Sadly, they think they are far ahead in the game and can't lose, but they're presently falling behind a bit, in my estimation.

Cashing in on record coverage? All the boys from NYC poll badly.

What fun this is going to be!
And Uncle Joe is running far ahead of any others.
A rich white old man. Heads exploding on the far left!

DeBlasio will make 25. That Montana governor guy declared yesterday.

But hey...I keep telling you...don't worry about it. The only one who matters is who Nancy, the DNC and the media tells you to worry about. That's the one that'll get the nomination. That's the one you'll vote for.

The rest? Oh, they are useful for one reason or another, but they don't have a chance.

Just be patient.

I'd love to have Cuban run as a Dem, but it's too late in practical terms. If he runs indie, Trump wins.

The real danger here is that they may mortally wound each other before the primaries. I hope they are smarter than that.

Explain policies, but curb any attacks. Those are counterproductive in the long game and Dems have to play the long game (Trump) here.

Way better than Trump, that much will be clear to the Far Left. It will be a bitter primary, but if he doesn't fumble he is likely to win. Double digit lead in Pennslyvannia over Trump.

Trump is the most consistent polling president, people have decided on him and he's consistently polling in the negative. The fact that the Right constantly brings up Biden reveals their fear.

This is starting to look like four more years of the “hot mess!” I cannot see this ending well for the US. Mycroft will be in his cups!

What about Cuban do you like for President? He doesn't particularly "Wow" me, but then again not many of the candidates do.

It seems that remaining vague on policy particulars and attacking Trump is the theme, so far. Culling of the herd will be rapid with Super Tuesday in March, 2020.

1] He is not Trump.

2] Voters do not want a politician <-- electability

3] Shark Tank!

We were told Hillary had a 95% chance of being president? Need I remind you of President Trump!!
I doubt Joe will make it though the primary. :peace

A lot of the Far Left want to go after Biden, down and dirty. It's their only route to victory at this point. This dynamic does not bode well, online the Left is already consuming itself, I too hope candidates remain focused on policy and getting rid of Trump.

It is essential we put differences aside for the sake of the country, and get this miserable orange society out of office. I will vote for whoever wins the Democratic Primary, guaranteed. I have yet to decide who I will be supporting in the primary, though would prefer a candidate with appeal in the States we lost to Trump and is a bit more on the moderate side. I have problems with Biden, but I think the government would at least function normally under him.

A good portion of them will drop well before the NH primary is my prediction. Most of the rest will drop right after NH. A few will stay in it to fight it out.

By the way, the candidates are everywhere here in NH all the time now. I've seen a half dozen of them already in various spots.

Those help in the General, but in the primary he doesn't really have any progressive credentials to speak of.

Just a guess on my part but I think they're all looking for name recognition and setting the pecking order for a 2024 run.

Bill De Blasio? Seriously? I'm betting the DNC is phoning him, begging him not to do it.

I would say electability might be Cuban's strong suit. The People don't want a politician. We saw Trump waltz right through the primary, to the Presidency.

We need a charismatic non-politician. If you want better liberal chops, I submit Oprah then.

True, but Dems are less anti-government and anti-establishment as the GOP. Obama is still very popular.

True that.

Then let's just hope the Dem establishment candidate has broad appeal to Indies and Trump former/cross-over Dems. But that's a big "hope"!

It certainly seems odd in the moment, but there's still a year before the Democratic Primary.

This clip came to mind last evening, regarding the number of Democrats running,.........pertinent portion begins around 1:07.

“This is close to insanity.....”

If Trump is the herald of TV reality stars as president then the end is nigh. If we're going down that road, then let's go all in and get Jerry Springer in the mix with Montel Williams as VP. At least Springer has some political experience under his belt.

I can't imagine him getting very far. De Blasio to me represents a level of micromanagement I'm not a fan of in the slightest.
