[h=1]Senator Warren Unveils Proposal to Tax Wealth of Ultra-Rich Americans[/h][FONT="]Washington, DC - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) today unveiled the Ultra-Millionaire Tax, a bold proposal to tax the wealth of the richest 0.1% of Americans. The legislation, which applies only to households with a net worth of $50 million or more, is estimated by leading economists to raise $2.75 trillion in tax revenue over a ten-year period.[/FONT]
[FONT="]For decades, a small group of families has raked in a massive amount of the wealth American workers have produced, while America's middle class has been hollowed out. The result is an extreme concentration of wealth not seen in any other leading economy. According to an analysis from economists Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman from the University of California-Berkeley, the richest top 0.1% has seen its share of American wealth nearly triple from 7% to 20% between the late 1970s and 2016, while the bottom 90% has seen its share of wealth decline from 35% to 25% in that same period. Put another way, the richest 130,000 families in America now hold nearly as much wealth as the bottom 117 million families combined.[/FONT]

This is HUGE and NOT because of college loans. THIS IS AN ENTIRE NEW FEDERAL TAX! Currently the Federal government ONLY taxes INCOME, not "assets." While she CLAIMS it will only be against the "ultra rich," that is EXACTLY how income tax was started - a huge lie promising it ONLY would affect the super rich and ONLY 1%. Like fools, people fell for it.
NOW Elizabeth Warren wants to create an entire new tax for which the Federal government will tax your cars, motorcycles, boats, jewelry, musical instruments, electronics and exactly EVERYTHING else you own - meaning of course Warren's "assets tax" also means you have to tell the government EVERYTHING you own. Failure to do so will be criminal tax evasion. Don't want to report to the government the value of the marijuana you have? Then you are criminal.
It also means IRS audits would no longer just explore your income and bank accounts, but rather IRS going thru every drawer in your home, going thru you purse, your pockets and wallets, with you having to make a list of EVERYTHING you own every year to report it to the government.
Of course, we now know that Democrats also claim that EVERYONE should be able to see you tax returns, so EVERYONE then will know EVERYTHING you have.
This is the new control freaks, spy on every American every way possible, and try to tax/take everything everyone has by the new International Fascist-Socialist Democratic Party.
Calling it a tax only against the ultra rich is a lie. It is the same lie told when the federal government first established an income tax at 1% only against the "rich." Few candidates should now terrify Americans the Elizabeth Warren. She wants a piece of EVERYTHING you have - literally everything. She wants to know EVERYTHING you own. Wants to force you to write it all down and give the list to the government once a year. How much are the clothes you are wearing worth? You cell phone? Name every item of clothing, every CD, every video game. How much is your cat worth? Have you paid your annual tax on your wedding ring? How long will it take to list every tool and pen you own?
