Re: Pelosi appears to take new jab at Ocasio-Cortez, says ‘a glass of water’ with a ‘D’ coul

Nope. That's not the original discussion. You said he had zero affect on my personal life. I gave instances where his decisions and policies do affect my personal life. Now you are changing your claim to include "wants and needs". These aren't the same thing. Whether someone can sign up for the military might not be a need, but it does affect them. You are moving the goal post, and not very subtly might I add.

You have concocted this fake reality. You are arguing that Trump should get all the credit for the economy that continues to be strong, but when I mention something else you argue that it has nothing to do with him and he isn't affecting me because congress can over rule him. Do you understand just how much that argument is based in bad faith and double talk?

Sorry, not going to satisfy you thus no reason to continue this discussion which is off thread topic anyway. Malcontents make up today's Democratic Party and there is absolutely no reason to support any Democratic Candidate running for the office of the Presidency

Of course you aren't. I'm looking for logical statements.

Pelosi appears to take new jab at Ocasio-Cortez, says ‘a glass of water’ with a ‘D’ could win their districts | Fox News

Exactly the point many of us have been making for sometime now and dispelling the belief that Democrats are stronger than they appear as partisanship is alive and well and always will be in certain areas of the country that don't represent the true values of our country

You’re probably right. Election is really going to come down again to a few small areas of a few states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. May be also Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. The rest of the country seems pretty dug in.

One wildcard is Bernie Sanders. For the wing of the Trump party that just wants disruption, Bernie may be able to take a lot of unexpected votes way from him.

You have been indoctrinated well by the left as everything told is a lie not a mistake or comment out of context because that is what you want to believe. You don't want to believe that liberals lie, you don't want to believe that Obama lied all of which makes you irrelevant and wrong on almost every issue. There is absolutely no reason to vote FOR a Democrat and voting for something is always better than voting simply out of hatred and negativity. Trump's results have validated my support for him and negates all your negativity

The bolded sentence right there exhibits the folly of trumpian logic. "I won therefore I'm a good president". trump supporters use the same logic to justify not only his horrible leadership, but to excuse not having to release his tax returns.

trump's "results" are that this nation has never been more divided. His junior high school rhetoric has made our nation a laughingstock to the world, more so than it was under the W. Bush admin. If the right-wing had its way, we'd be a bunch of junior high-school bullies living in a "Handmaid-tale" like society.

Total fail, my friend! But keep trying, like trump, you might convince the weak-minded!

Think the country is going to support someone whose Medicare for all is going to break the bank and destroy private insurance. The election shouldn't be that close as there is no reason to vote FOR a Democrat unless you are a true socialist and in need of massive gov't to provide for you

I voted for results not rhetoric and this is what I have gotten, End of discussion, my support validated

1. GDP Growth 2013 to 2018

2013 16784.9
2014 17521.7 736.8
2015 18129.3 607.6
2016 18707.2 577.9
2017 19485.4 778.2
2018 20494.1 1008.7

2016 GDP growth 1.6% vs 2.9% with those terrible tax cuts

Unemployment Rate 4.7% January 2017 vs. 3.8% today

Employed 152 million January 2017 to 157 million today

U-6 in January 2017 9.3% vs 7.3% today?

Part time for economic reasons, 5.7 million January 2017 vs. 4.4 million today?

African American unemployment 7.7% vs. 6.7% today?

Remember those wonderful Obama years leaving Trump with a 1.6% GDP growth, declining GDP dollars and let's not forget adding 9.3 trillion to the debt with much of that gov't spending in those GDP numbers

Then let's not forget the gloom and doom predictions by the left

U.S. employers added 196,000 jobs in March, beating Wall Street's expectations for an increase of 180,000, likely quelling some fears about an impending economic slowdown on the heels of a measly month for job creation.
