Bernie seems centrist b/c the party moved with his policies. Yet he did not adequately answer questions about sexual assault allegations and the bernie bro culture of harassment that surrounded his 2016 election. Only making thin promises to release his tax returns and to address those issues...

I still think Sanders running harms the Democratic Party this time around, he will grab a percentage of the younger liberal vote who will be just as irritated in 2020 when someone else takes the nomination as they were in 2016 when party shenanigans pushed Hillary past him.

I highly doubt the Townhall helped or hurt his chances.

Which is funny b/c they don't question Bernie about the same stuff they hate Trump for.

During his townhall, Bernie still couldn't bring himself to call Manduro a dictator. Even members of the Democratic party have publicly called him out over his wrong thinking on Venezuela. Yet ole Bernie didn't have a bit of problem recently calling president Trump a dictator.

In 1985 at another televised townhall in Vermont, Bernie praised Fidel Castro and called president Reagan a liar. After 30 years Bernie still appears to have a soft place in his heart for brutal dictators and disdain for Republican presidents. They don't call him Bolshevik Bernie for nothing.

Centrist?

He has little in common with a centrist.

and yeah, he did not speak to the sex allegations at all, looked very uncomfortable when it was brought up.

My take away from watching him last night, Trump would be thrilled if he were the dEm nominee.

They can have a bro-fest. Sanders famously didn't really attack Trump last time and Trump had much sympathy for the old man.

Socialist too, that's why I didn't vote for him, "I am a Socialist."

Mostly he's a lot of What and not How.

"We should have this, and this," and everyone screams and jumps in the air like a bunch of Hare Krishnas, but How is he going to get his plans through Congress, and How are we going to pay for these things, and How will people like paying for it and How are you able to rule across the aisle and to take into account that people need an incentive to work?
