You seem to be distilling the legitimate criticism of Trump down to "wah wah incendiary slurs". We can question if he's racist with his "very fine people", " **** hole countries" , family seperations, etc. And you seem to be forgetting the vile and disgusting slurs that republicans and the conservative actually spewed as you imagine it from democrats and the media.

If a sitting president - anyone in office really - gets criticism, he should shut up and take it first and foremost. Trump doesn't do that, he immediately reaches for Twitter.

Then he should think about it, absorb it and ask himself why, but Trump's thumbs are busy at this point, and they apparently take up more energy than his brain so the two cannot function independently of one another.

Then he should decide whether and how to respond - by either doing something to fix whatever actions generated the ciritcism, responding with hard evidence if it's a false complaint or just keeping quiet and showing he is above stooping to petty insults if it was something small: by this stage Trump is usually in the middle of a full-blown social media spat with Meryl Streep.

Every time he hits back - and the list of patriotic targets I provided above shows some of the most egregious examples - he makes a further fool of himself and demeans his office. His understanding of how to deal with criticism is that of a child. He thinks the Oval Office is his rumpus room.

He should shut up, take it like a man and do the job he was elected to do rather than spend all his time worrying what pundits on TV have to say. At this stage with a 3-hour 'work' day and the rest spend feuding with the media, Trump is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

He lies and many on the rabid right WANT to believe him, they DO believe him. He does what he does because he is mentally ill, not because he feels unloved in DC.

We are not at peace, men still die in Afghanistan (a place he attacked Obama for not getting us out and tRump still feels the need to stay as well), tRump drums up false 'invasions' and hate... oh and our economy has been on an upward trajectory long before tRump got into office.

His tasteless attacks are not productive as most of his self styled successes are mirages. North Korea isn't disarming, the Saudis are murdering opponents, our trade with China is no better than before his asinine 'trade war'. The tariffs are not working, he has to bribe farmers to go along with the war.

No they are not working, and quite possibly poisons the well for future agreements... :peace
 
I disagree with the Op. Trump has not hit a new low. He proves daily that he has no low -- I am referring to his character, not his approval ratings.

Frankly right now he could stand in the middle of Arlington cemetery, whip out his pathetic little tallywhacker and whizz all over the graves of the fallen and his supporters - many of whom claim to be flag-loving patriotic supporters of the military - wouldn't bat an eyelid. Instead they'd clap for all the 'liberal tears'.
