Looks like the Democrats are learning how to get the cons. It's quite easy to do.

You see Project Veritas released a video exposing Beto O'Rourke's campaign helping the poor. And now it's clear that Republicans don't care about the poor. This was the Beto response:

"Staff members took it upon themselves to use prepaid cards from one of our more than 700 field offices to buy baby wipes, diapers, water, fruit and granola bars, and donate them to a local humanitarian nonprofit (Annunciation House) that helps mothers and children in the community," O'Rourke spokesman Chris Evans said in a statement. "The value was under $300 and it will be appropriately reported to the FEC."

Beto O'Rourke camp says spending highlighted in Project Veritas video went to charity, will be "appropriately reported"

I think for the longest time the sane among us were hoping that these tactics conservative use to trigger people and to create fake news would go away. That we could run on facts and progressive agendas and ignore the rest. I'm happy to see Beto fighting back on this nonsense. The CT culture is too popular nowadays to simply ignore it. It's up to the victims of these attacks to speak out and squash it.

That sounds illegal.

You had better check, there are many laws regulating campaign contributions.

I am sick of politicians who get into all kind of side businesses as they neglect their day jobs, you will not find me cheering here.

Helping the poor isn't a side business. It's literally what you are elected to do. Especially if you are a democrat.

Sounds Illegal? Based on what your dislike for Dem politicians?

See someone on the right would never understand that. They think that charity should to their overlords above them, so that the crumbs trickle down to them.

Imagine being James O'Keefe and putting so much effort into editing videos to make your opposition look horrible only for it to get stopped almost immediately by an announcement like this.

I don't understand why this guy doesn't get the same treatment as Wohl did.

Felito must be pooping bricks, Beto's running him so close!

With the advent of Gingrich, corruption and deceit is pretty much hardwired into modern conservatism. It's a racket, and rackets LOVE their conmen.

I don't understand why this guy doesn't get the same treatment as Wohl did.

The reason is because O'Keefe's videos sometimes work out at being effective propaganda. Wohl pulls similar stunts, but he gets rejected by almost everyone.

I can understand why you don't like it when leftist lies and crimes are exposed.

What crimes and lies are you talking about? Beto clearly stated what the campaign was doing and what they would do next. :doh
