Caravan No Longer Hot Topic. Trump Whines.

Trump has been whining to media that he is upset that the Caravan is no longer the hottest topic in the news. A topic that was solely created by his propaganda machine and the Fox News feedback loop in order to scare his supporters that a bunch of brown people were going to break into their homes and steal their votes.

What's more, the MAGA Bomber appears to have tweeted mostly threatening messages to the people that he targeted (this is called evidence) and the rest were conspiracy theories about the Parkland Kids being crisis actors. While he has become a crisis actor himself to those on the right who desperately want to pivot back to the fear-mongering Caravan story.

This is an epic fail of political theater no matter which way you look at it.

The latest caravan is a non-issue since we now have 600 to 800 per day illegally crossing the border without caravans. What I find most disturbing (amusing?) about Trump is how he no longer says (promises?) that Mexico will pay for the Great Wall of Trump or touts the miraculous 'Trump effect' on the stock market. So long as US 'job creators' can employ low wage immigrant (legal or not) labor their will be an inflow of immigrants seeking those jobs and Trump is all about pleasing the 'job creators' and personally uses immigrant labor.

So long as there are US jobs that US citizens can't (or won't) do then the US has problems that need to be addressed which have little (or nothing?) to do with immigration policy.

Just wondering where the 600-800 number comes from. That would total a quarter million undocumented per year which is way too high.

I think the number is exactly correct. I read something yesterday that put illegals at over 300,000 per year. I don't remember where I read it and can't provide the link, but I remember it because the number seemed high, but Border Patrol arrests backed up the number. The caravan is just an MSM blitz initiated by that MSM manipulator, Trump. Expect new blitz by Monday to bring press back to positive for Republicans running for election. Trump is having a little problem with the negatives i.e., Khashoggi, Saudi Arabia, MbS, Turkey, Trump themed pipe bomber, Yemen, Syria, weapons sales, stock market and a general flashback on Trump policies, all negative. Trump will fight fire with bullcrap alternative facts to be invented by Monday, don't ya' know?

There are stats that show as many as 65% of people living here illegally arrive here with legal documentation and just overstay their time limit. That would mean that most do not come illegally through the border but most likely fly in. Do we ever hear anyone talk about them? No, its just the brown "masses" at the southern border. If you have white skin and overstay your welcome no one seems to care.

Dont know if this is true or not but the caravan story was never a hot topic and important issue, why would it be... its stupid. Trump wanted it to be but nobody rational really cared. Anybody crossing in to america should be dealt with according to law. :shrug:

As many as 65% of people who enter this country, come here legally and overstay their visa. This represents more people than those who illegally cross our southern border.

he has and will do damage but we will survive and many dont see the US as a laughing stock but trump, the individual as the laughing stock.
Though most everybody laughs at out media.

The one positive i was HOPING for from him being president was the stronghold of a two party system being ended sooner rather than later... now i dont even know if that will happen either. Seems its going to get much wrse before it gets better. I really hoped that in my kids life time at least that part of the system would break down and other parties would be born. REAL parties and chances....
