Avenatti who already was not favored by Dem party leadership is having a week from hell, but the saving grace for him is that this isn't October 2020. It isn't even November 2018. He has plenty of time to mount a challenge to Trump and was seemingly planting the seeds for a political operation in the midwest earlier this summer. Avenatti is however testing the Democrats patience this week and he has to decide whether or not he wants to run on substance or style and that will answer the question of whether results matter at all to any modern political party.

  • In Time Magazine he said, "Avenatti said that he believed that it had "better be a white male" running against President Donald Trump in 2020.
  • On Thursday, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley referred Avenatti and his client Julie Swetnik to the Justice Department for a criminal investigation.
  • A California judge ruled earlier this week that Avenatti had to pay almost $5 million to make good on a debt he owed to his former law partner.
  • The Daily Beast published a piece suggesting that Avenatti has personally owed more than $1 million in unpaid personal taxes. Avenatti referred to the story as a "hit piece."
  • He hasn't won the lawsuits he claimed would destroy Trump. In fact they were all but tossed out.

Warren, Booker, and Harris probably aren't amused by the sleazy lawyer trying to cut in front of them in line either. He'd have to get past the D hopefuls first, which isn't going to happen.

The next week it is some Irish guy who uses a nickname to sound "less white" and flees the scene while drunk.

After that it is some idiot saying he is Spartacus or another idiot using his influence to get free Hamilton tickets.

This party just keeps giving....

Thank God for Grassley and civilized Senators who are sending this guy and his lying girl pal up the river to give accounts of their crimes. Grassley is right. If something is not done to stop lying attacks on appointees before Congress then the democrats will not stop using that deceitful dishonest uncivilized tactic.

The fallen woman and her creepy porn lawyer will first have to explain away her perjury before they can proceed to prove Kavanaugh might have done some childish things as a child. Once they prove, if they can, that Kavanaugh acted childishly as a child then they will have to convince lawmakers that acting childishly as a child is grounds for impeachment as an adult.

It's Kamala Harris who is going to be a tough nut to crack. She's sharp...i'll give her that.

What is hilarious is that it is working. At one of his campaign rallies an actor was saying we don't need old white guys in office telling us what to do. I think he missed the memo that he was campaigning for the old white guy in that race.

too sharp ... but not in the way you intended

without a likeability factor, it is difficult to be elected

of course in 2020 she would be less dislikable that the donald, but otherwise, i am not so certain if her chances
