After this horrible no good very bad week? Is now when they decide that they need to take people who dont agree with them seriously and treat them with some degree of respect? Is now when they finally figure out that they need to try to listen and try to learn and try to figure out what is going on in America? Do they figure out now that they are not going to be able to bully the nation into following their agenda, something that they should have would have figured out on Nov 9 2016 if they were not such ready and willing to abuse others clods?

I see the bullies as Trump, Mitch McConnell and others, and the left will wake up, because now we know how much in jeopardy our country is. And the women and young people are just getting fired up!

They wont. Their fundamental flaw is that they think they are smarter than everyone else and that everyone else is wrong. They still do, thats what makes them leftists. Emotional thinking vs. logical thinking.

How about all that stuff happens the day after you and other 'others' stop pretending you not only know how everyone on the left thinks and acts but how they should think and act. The very next day! Would it be worth the sacrifice? Could you and your ilk stop treating about half of the population like they're misbehaving and need to be more like you (egad, did someone mention 'respect'?) for the sake of, uh, what again? What was it you wanted? From me, for example. I'm a liberal, one of the left. What should I do?

That not understanding what is really going on and being so dim that they cant figure out that they are in LaLa Land has long been one of the major problems with the entire Ruling Class, as Cooper over at THEWEEK was just talking some about yesterday:

Hopefully the Democrats will have learned that uncorroborated accusations, the presumption of guilt and the politics of personal destruction simply will not fly with the electorate.
It'd be best for them if they give those up on a permanent basis.

I also think it would be better for the nation if the Democrats stopped their identity politics and their politics of division.

These are things that the electorate needs to #WalkAway from, and there are signs that they are.

Will the Democrats and the left learn and adopt these things?

I rather doubt it. The Democrats and leftists have yet to come the an understanding as to why Hillary lost the 2016 election, casting blame on everyone and everything besides themselves, Hillary, and her candidacy and campaign.

So I suspect their political influence will continue to wane, as it should, as long as they are proponents of uncorroborated accusations, the presumption of guilt and the politics of personal destruction.

I never said everyone, I said the group generally. This idea that I cant talk about the forest because you can point out some trees that are different is part and parcel why I gravitate to People like Jordan Peterson who rant on about the destruction of of the West by nihilistic and ignorant post modernism.

I am looking for anyone who can behave as an adult, preferably a smart one, how ever many of these can be found this deep into this New Dark Age, regardless of what ideas they hold, regardless of what ideas they are pushing.

I will talk to anyone who chooses to thus treat me right.

The Left did not elect a tax fraud and chronic liar president. Nor did they have a House Speaker convicted of child molestation or nominate to sex abusers to the Supreme Court. Those are Right Wing things.

Are you aware of any DP forum leftist, or member of the Democratic Party who was for Kavanaugh's confirmation? I think it is a lot more than half the country, but an entire party involved in a Kavanaugh SHAM scam is enough for me... ymmv

It has been long clear to me that America generally is suffering from mass mental illness, we dont get to these kind of dark times without that component.

When are we going to decide to be better, that is what I want to know....
