Contact your congressperson, put together a proposal to end this carnage. Face it, the people of the world decided, to a greater or lesser extent we are in this together, that this is the way they want it. Put your money in a private account. I have some there too. Social Security is part of the safety net. That's what you use when you fall from the heights of your private account.

That body was largely run by an unaccountable, foreign, unelected, centralized, bureaucracy, whose leaders would make major decisions regarding policy in other countries, with those countries often having NO input, no choice, and no recourse for unpopular policies!

The more relevant and pressing questions that people should be asking, is why the left, the multinational corporate elites and neo-cons are so focused on weakening and eventually ending the sovereignty of the US, and most other western countries! Why do they drone on about the "importance of democracy", while supporting undemocratic, unelected govt entities, and calling for their expansion?

Maybe it's about time that leftists start to do some research, and some critical thinking about the information they so willingly accept as truth. There is SO much propaganda that you are exposed to each and every day, and it's time to stop automatically accepting it all as gospel truth. Start looking for the important details of EVERY issue that are intentionally omitted from the daily reporting, looking at the WHOLE picture, using a critical eye for detail, and stop blindly trusting people who've been deceiving you for so long..

Actually its based on the British system, the UK was moving away from royal power to Parliamentary power for centuries, the US did not invent democracy, the Greeks did.

In wake of 9/11 all the world's intelligence told him Saddam had WMDS so Bush attacked and world mostly backed him! That's good faith.
