Oh there are swaths of us former Republicans out there. I still vote GOP often local. But as a gay man, the GOP can go pound sand if they EVER want my vote on the national level. I voted for Reagan and Bush1, then they cozied up to the Evangelicals and systematically denied me certain Rights. The GOP can go catch a nasty STD off a porn star, but hell no gays they cant serve openly and marry the person they luv. I will always thank President Obama for what he did for the gay community. We are in his debt.

Similarly, I find the GOP to be far more accepting of my religious beliefs. Too many in your vaunted party share the same hostility that you do and your party can go pound sand as far as I’m concerned.

hit a nerve ? your party was, and I highly suspect VERY homophobic, it past actions have proven that point. Hint: you dont take a crap on a certain segment of the voting population for 20 years, and not expect blowback.

You remember.Puerto Rico is far far away.Very difficult place to get to due to the skin color of it's inhabitants.Had it contained a lot of the top 1 percenters,I sense Trump would have discerned indeed it is quite accessible with all of our great new ships he is personally building with his tiny little hands.

What specifically has the Democratic Party done that restricts your ability to practice your personal religious beliefs? In fact, I will go one step further. As (I am assuming), a white evangelical Christian, when in your entire life has your ability to practice your personal religious beliefs ever been restricted in the United States? Give an example of when you personally have experienced this.

You forget, evengelicals believe it is their duty to evengeliaze. Any individual or group resistent enough to cozying up to, and potentially assimiliating their culture and ways is the enemy.:roll:

A persecution complex is conveniently built right in to their religion. They also like to ignore the Church's non political tax exepmt status and campaign from the pulpit. I've literally seen a number of church handouts pretty much telling you any vote for a Democrat is a vote against Jesus.:roll:
