This seems like the perfect title to the Trump era. Guliani nailed it. Trump has sold lies as truth so well that his followers, even when they know it is not true, adopt it as truth. Hence why Democrats are now the harbingers of lawlessness, disorder, and persecution. Meuller is allegedly the McCarthy of our era bent on a witchhunt of unprecedented proportions. The media and intelligence community are apparently tied in a conspiracy against the president. At least that is the "truth" that has been milled and distilled into convenient talking points for Trump supporters to share on Facebook, slap on T-shirts and signs at rallies, and parrot to the annoyance of anyone who will listen. Truth isn't truth. Truth is now the brand you want to own.

I believe there are truths and they are equal to each other. With the difference with Fox News and the mainstream media, there truths are different to each other.

Hmmm...actually all that is opinion, and everyone is entitled to theirs, including you.

IMO the Mueller investigation was created to be a loadstone around the current Administrations neck, since the evidence does show Russia tried to influence the election results, but little to none showing they actually succeeded. Yet many citizens have come to believe that not only did Mr. Trump win the election thanks to this help, but also that he and/or his campaign team actively conspired willfully and deliberately with Russia in this effort. There is no real evidence of this, despite all efforts to show otherwise by the investigation.

Meanwhile as I see it, there is clear evidence in the MSM's actions prior to, during, and after the President's election to sway public opinion via false and misleading propaganda. There is clear evidence of efforts by '"former and current members of the government" to leak information damaging to the current administration, giving the President good cause to distrust the motives of some personnel in the Branch he is supposed to supervise. There is clear evidence that trusted agencies were staffed by personnel whose political bias affected their professional judgement and possible efforts to undermine the current Administration.

So IMO it's not like Trump is "completely delusional" and just making things up. I guess it's all in how one views the situation.

I personally observe that the truth can be difficult to discern in US MSM. Too many agendas. Too many branded narratives disguised as news. Too much political influence. Too much Intelligence Agency influence. Too much Corporate influence. Each and every one directing to distort the same truth to conform to their agenda. Objectivity = Zero. Partisan spin = 100. Goebbels and Bernays would be proud. A time when everything you believe is a lie. Feel sumpin' slippin'?

It is hard to see truth when you have been propagandized by the best....

RT.com, where truth is just another word.

Cue... The word is cue.

As in "Cue the RT hacks to whine about the US media while embracing the state media of the Russians"

Kellyanne Conway -- "The Trump White House offered 'alternative facts'."

Donald Trump -- "Don’t believe what you’re reading or seeing."

Rudy Guiliani -- "Truth isn’t truth."

And amazingly enough, people on this board still defend virtually everything the Donald Trump cabal says and does.

Are you saying you were propagandized by the second best?

Since I get my information from a wide range of sources I see propaganda everywhere. From VOA to Radio Pyongyang.

I don't swallow it hook, line and sinker like the Putinistas.

Correct. You don't swallow it, you regurgitate it. From the Defense Dept. playbook.

You sure do parrot a lot of it.

And never condemn what comes from the right.

At least that I have seen.

This is a painful but necessary time for the country. We are being reminded what is important......truth, decency, civility and morality.

Yes, because states which usually go Democrat didn't go to Trump or anything. And especially didn't go to Trump after Trump made what was seen at the time a completely unexplainable trip to those same states, which occurred right at the time Russia began heavily targeting those states with their propaganda.

Yet many citizens have come to believe that not only did Mr. Trump win the election thanks to this help, but also that he and/or his campaign team actively conspired willfully and deliberately with Russia in this effort.
Those people actually follow the news. I take it from your post you are one of those who do not.

There is no real evidence of this, despite all efforts to show otherwise by the investigation.
There is copious amounts of evidence that Trump and/or his campaign team worked with Russia. Seriously, pay attention to the news.

Roll your eyes all you wish, but back during the campaign period, when everyone was assured by the MSM via polling Trump could never win? I was noticing that Trump was campaigning the old-way in those "swing" states, and he was drawing large crowds of supporters at each rally.

I pointed this out several times back prior to the election in this very Forum, warning people not to count their chickens. It wasn't Russia-Trump "collusion" that won those States, it was poor Democratic turn-out combined with a motivated grass-roots turnout for Trump that pushed him over into the win column.

Those people actually follow the news. I take it from your post you are one of those who do not.

Those people may have "followed the news," but I SOURCED the news myself. Each time reviewing the evidence and actually reading the articles and watching the full tapes...not just looking at headlines and listening to the same talking heads spouting propaganda rather than reporting the news. I found that Headlines were not supported by their own articles, CNN and the rest not supported by the video evidence they used. I think I have a better grasp on reality than you seem to.

The same kind of "evidence" of dirt-digging that the DNC engaged in you mean? That's about all the evidence there is, not a jot of evidence showing Trump or anyone in his campaign were aware of beyond what little was reported in the media, much less colluding with Russian hacking and bot efforts on social media.

This is the problem with following the news as you put it...IMO you simply believe what they say without making sure it is really true.

Everyone can draw their own conclusions regarding the investigation, but Trump himself has provided the best evidence that something nefarious was afoot, from personally crafting the lies released to the public about his son's meeting with the Russian official, to firing an FBI director he had prompted to "go easy" on Flynn (who was later found to be compromised by Russia), to the incessant social media attacks lobbed at the leader of the investigation, and his attempts to be very friendly with a nation shown to deliberately interfere in our elections while chastising our allies...you cannot expect anyone who does not have your pro-Trump bias to not draw different conclusions.

As for the media, it is divided left and right just as we are. Fox swung conspirital during the Obama era and now exists in Alex Jones territory in regards to degree of bias.

That's just revisionist. The MSM reported Clinton had the lead in the polls. Which she did. She also mostly covered the lead she had in the polls on election night.

Stop with the false information.

I was noticing that Trump was campaigning the old-way in those "swing" states, and he was drawing large crowds of supporters at each rally.
And Russia targeted ads in those same states. Like I said.

It wasn't Russia-Trump "collusion" that won those States
Says who? You? Trump won Michigan by ~10,000 votes, Wisconsin by ~22,800 votes. We know Russia targeted those states with ads.

You are literally just making things up right now.

Those people may have "followed the news," but I SOURCED the news myself. Each time reviewing the evidence and actually reading the articles and watching the full tapes...not just looking at headlines and listening to the same talking heads spouting propaganda rather than reporting the news. Now you're just posting lies.

We know Trump interacted with Maria Butina and promised sanctions relief in 2015. We know Trump promised sanctions relief again in 2016 when he met with foreign diplomats in a completely unusual setting. We know Sessions met with Kislyak at the same speech in 2016 and later lied about it. We know Russia had the DCLeaks website go live the day before they met with Trump Jr., et all in June. We know Trump asked Russia to find more Clinton e-mails and Russia that very day began attacking Clinton operatives. Throw in Carter Page, Papadapolous/Mifsud, Erik Prince, etc., along with the fact we know for a fact Russian acted on Trump's behalf and one has all they need to know to know you are posting lies.

The same kind of "evidence" of dirt-digging that the DNC engaged in you mean?
More lies. You're trying to create a false equivalence to the copious amounts of evidence of Trump campaign officials interacting with Russian government officials/spies and the DNC hiring a company who hired a private investigator who did his own research.

You clearly have ZERO intention of objectivity or reviewing actual facts.

That's about all the evidence there is
More lies.

not a jot of evidence showing Trump or anyone in his campaign were aware of beyond what little was reported in the media, much less colluding with Russian hacking and bot efforts on social media.

More lies. Or, like I said, you clearly don't follow the news. I mean, Rob Goldstone LITERALLY told Trump Jr. of the Russian government's support of candidate Trump.

So either you posted a lie about following the news or are posting lies about the level of interactions between Russia and Trump.

This is the problem with following the news as you put it...IMO you simply believe what they say without making sure it is really true.
The things I am talking about are things which have been confirmed by people who worked with the Trump campaign or by Mueller indictments. Again, stop posting lies.

Impeach the president then! You know it’s pretty pathetic that our democracy is dead! I don’t care about what our president has said or done! All of these liberals thinks that the president is telling lies every day. The democrats should be very very careful about what they want because they don’t want Pence as the president! Far as Guliani, he’s a fan of the president but, I wouldn’t want him as my attorney.

Can’t censor this Patriot

I would rather have Pence as president. At this point I would rather have just about anyone else.

You tend to babble like that when faced with facts you don't like.

It's the CIA! It's the MIC! The NSA!

You appear to have ACRONYM PHOBIA....

.....Que????
