Do people even notice they're being fed a helpless victim and savior narrative?

Anyone calling him a “shock jock” tells me they haven’t actually listened to him, at least recently.
I don’t think you’d have near the problem with him if that were true. How useful would it be if your opposition was convinced they’re helpless, hapless victims? That’s definitely not his message, though.
So you've bought the "your a helpless victim and he's your savior" tshirt? Or just the mug.
Are you having some separate conversation in your head I’m not privy to?
You posted the "we are helpless victims and Rush is our savior" article. So, tshirt and mug?
Rush had mentioned Hannity’s monologue so I looked it up and posted the link. I’ve also looked at Rush’s store online and don’t see the t-shirt/mug you mention. Doesn’t sound like a design I’m really interested in because I only have one savior. Did see a number of other nice looking tees, though.
Thank God, Rush gave you a voice despite those evil liberals.
He definitely blazed a trail.
Howard Stern was first.
He's the only political radio guy I actually can "enjoy" listening to almost no matter what he's talking about. That's because he's the only one that seems to actually be a "radio" guy and who understands that first and foremost he is an Entertainer, not a pundit or analyst or reporter or anything else. That doesn't mean sometimes he doesn't offer interesting insight or analysis or thoughts on things, and I do think he's often an eloquent speaker of conservative ideals, but that's always secondary to performing as an entertainer.
Levin is too whiny and screechy and prone to stick on things, Hannity is an utter goober who has no real radio instincts at all, Savage is a nutcase, Becks radio show would wander or get too flighty at times, etc. All of them will tend to get me to still turn my dial at times even when I agree with them, and definitely turn it when I don't. With Rush, whether I'm nodding along or shaking my head, he makes it an interesting and pleasant listen, because he understands radio...and I think that's what sets him apart.
