Trump Thanks Rand Paul

I kinda understand where his philosophy comes from:
Libertarians don't seem to care where they get their money because free market
Libertarians don't seem to care when they break laws because they do not believe in the government which enforces those laws.

I don't understand why they are willing to be used as Russian assets for said money corrupting their own belief system? These people are all willfully ignorant about spycraft.

I see you know as little about libertarians as you do anything else.

He's correct, in a very narrow way, but he also ignores the actual problem. It is good to meet with adversaries, as it's the only way to end a conflict.

He seems to be saying Trump deserves credit for the effort, regardless of the result. By that measure, there was no way Obama talking to Iran was a bad thing.

That said, it's not so great to insult your allies in the process, or to adopt the adversary's position by default.

If Russia meddled in the election, then that's a problem that lands directly on Putin's desk, even if it's not a huge problem.

Behaving as though Putin isn't in the wrong in the face of evidence from our own people, and calling the people who accurately raised the alarm foolish is 100% bad.

100% this.

I have defended Paul in the past and I don't disagree with him on acting diplomatically with our enemies, but he talked as if he never even watched that press conference.

Wow, American is here to teach all us children that speaking truth to power can only occur if you are a Senator!
No American can question Rand Paul, unless they got elected!! What a stupid, absurd, childish response.

Also, using your childish attempt at rebuttal, you yourself are not in any position to give ME a pro-tip, which you apparently think you just did.

Maybe you are not aware of this, but any adult of sound mind can put anyone in their place...not just moronic representatives like Rand Paul, who are dumber than a rock, but even supposed experts. It all depends on what you know and what reasons you use, vs theirs. That's the foundation of knowledge...all knowledge, that anyone can access it.

Keep preaching that only Senators have access to the truth, it's very unenlightened an un-American of you.

Good teachers understand that the power of reason and logic, lead to truth, and that truth is accessible to anyone and everyone if they take the time to get it right. Not everyone learned this though, part of why we need better education and teachers in the U.S.

Yes yes, change the subject. You said pro tip, like you are one. You're not, so get over yourself. Whether YOUR truth is the truth, is another debate.
