The presidency itself needs to have its wings clipped.

This wouldn't be an issue if Congress knew how to govern... But in their paralysis brought on by

A: Legalized Corruption otherwise known as Citizens United.

B: Media and more the extremist right wing media than any other medium, that makes compromising on anything across the political aisle a form of treason in the minds of a decent chunk of the electorate.

Both of these things of course compounded by Americas 2 party system that pretty much ****s everyone... and Well, you've got a recipe for the legislative body abrogating responsibility to a branch that isn't totally paralyzed.
 
Trump country can suck it.

We need people with principles standing up to Trump.

All Trump and his supporters do is claim credit for Obama's accomplishments i.e. the economy, low unemployment, etc. and piss on the rest of the country and world.

If Flake runs I will register as a Republican so I can vote for him in the primaries. So yes, I hope he goes for it.

Trump has spent the last couple of years steamrolling everyone with the power of the people behind him, The Senate is going to put the shackles on Trump months before a lot of folks need to face the voters again? I am wondering if this attempt would create a huge March on Washington by Trump Country, with the Lefty Radicals turning it into a violent event.

Sen. Flake is the one guy in Congress acting to check Trump somewhat in one respect yet the Trump Fanboyz are up in arms. The OP himself is hard on having wet visions of a Trump Country march on or in Washington that would be turned into a riot by the evil leftists who have always been hellbent on destroying the United States. Which makes the thread a huge sinkhole from the get go.

Hopefully your "sig line" is not insinuating that Trump is nothing more then a serial liar. If so that your idea of truth is one strange concept. If anyone watched Dateline to night with their programming "The Dividing Line" they would have seen where Trump has lied about everything regarding the immigrant situation from drugs coming over, MS13 coming over,m etc. Of course, the right wing mindless will say it is all a lie.

A large percentage of the GOP don't like Trump at all and are staying silent because it's convenient (i.e. they have a Republican President). If the polls show Trump is likely to lose the next election, they will throw him under the bus so fast your head will spin.
