The underlying reason fake news is so popular with the left, is connected to the feminization of the left.
One analogy for the feminized left, is the insecure wife asking her husband, if she looks fat in her new dress. She is not interested in a factual analysis of her weight gain. Nor, is she interested in her husband giving advice to solve her problem. She would get very upset if he said, well you did put on 25 pounds and could use exercise and diet.
Instead, she wants him to say something that makes her feel good, even if he has to use white lies. She would much prefer he said, Dear, you look wonderful in that dress, even more sexy than the day I met you. Or, I thought you lost weight, because of that new dress! Men often lie to women to make them feel good, since cold hard facts are not always warm and fuzzy. Charm is about making someone feel good.
The Democrat party has made their base very insecure about Trump. College age adults need safe spaces to deal with the induced insecurities. Others are very aggressive due to a defensive posture to appease the fear. To them, Trump was going to blow up the world with nukes, make old lades starve, cause the earth to fry and die, etc. This all creates anxiety. Therefore, to appease these anxieties; Do I look fat in this dress, left wing leadership and their allies in the news are expected to tel them things that make feel better. There is nothing to fear, if Trump is gone.
Anything that appears to suggest that Trump is about to go away, will be accepted, since it feels good and appeases the insecurity. Each new scandal is about the fall of Trump, and making the base feel sexy, in their new dress. If the facts reinforce their fear, such as a good economy may result in Trump being reelected, it will be met with suspicion. This is the husband saying, you need to get more exercise. It is better to say, the growing economy is a bubble. that will burst and we will all be safe again.
The question is how do you reach the insecure left, without lying to it? Lying is only a short term solution, and the same anxiety and question will come back, again and again. How do you break the cycle, without lying? Lying will create a loop.
The first step is to make everyone understand the nature of emotional thinking. It has strengths and weaknesses. Emotional thinking stems from maternal instinct and is a way for women to effectively deal with the irrational side of human nature, such as with babies and children. A mother can listen to her child cry, and based on how her child's cry makes her feel, determine the nature of that cry. Babies cry due to distress, frustration, pain, needing diaper change, being tired, being hungry, and just trying to get mom's attention. The mother uses her natural emotional intelligence, to translate subtle variations in cry sound, into feelings, and from these feelings, she knows how to react.
The new mom is just learning and may be overwhelmed by any form of crying. She may need to call her mom, who has developed the emotional skills needed to differentiate the various cries. She teaches her daughter, that not every cry is an emergency. The differences in sound is very subtle, but her brain will learn this emotional language, with time.
From this, I inferred that emotional thinking is optimized in intimate relationships, where subtle differences have time to differentiate. Emotional thinking does not extrapolate well, as we move away from longer term intimate human relationships. Even the new mom has to build up that intimacy with her baby ,before she can translate, anything. As we go toward the general and impersonal, emotional thinking lacks data for the proper differentiation of the seasoned grandma.
The left; male leaders, have tried to extrapolate emotional intelligence, to areas it does not work properly. They are men and what do they know of maternal instincts. However, grandmother is not the wise elder matriarch, but the leftist media men; husband. This perpetuate a loop of lies, and short term appeasement, but no real self reliant solution leading to the seasoned mom.
