Bill Gates has been on a sort of media blitz recently and he's been more public than ever before. So that of course prompted rumors of his potential as a Presidential candidate in 2020. After Trump, why not right? It was after all, a liberal fever dream. Gates, the eternal optimist said no, during a Reddit AMA.

"I won't be running for President because I am super committed to the work Melinda and I are doing at the (Bill & Melinda Gates) Foundation and outside the Foundation," Gates wrote. "I agree it is important to have a President who thinks long term about the US role in the world and the research to solve disease burdens and costs and to tackle climate change and improve education."

I would not want Bill Gates to run for president just like I didn't want Oprah to run either.

Hard pass on Bill Gates. He's a hell of a guy, and a hell of a philanthropist, but we've taken this "anybody can be President" experiment too far. Let him run for Congress or something. Get some government experience under his belt first.

Smart move. He can make a much better impact on the world in his current role as philanthropist. He doesn’t need to muddy all that positive work up with politics.

Good. 'Cause when I want a president, I want the typical, corrupt-to-the-gills, easily-bought politician kind. it's those people who have our best interests in mind.

Philanthropist my ass. https://www.forbes.com/profile/bill-gates/

He's one of your liberal's one percenters who is one of the richest men in the world on the backs of everyone who works under him. With all of that "Philanthropy" and liberal values, how could he still be worth over 90 billion dollars? Here's a list of all of the Democratic one percenter billionaires who backed Hillary in 2016: Here Are the Billionaires Backing Hillary Clinton | Fortune

Again, how could any of these one percenters be worth this much unless it was on the backs of everyone who worked under them? The left hypocritically bashes the CEO's of wall street and major corporations while giving all of the above and everyone in Hollywood free rides.

Had to laugh at Chuck Schumer today who was wasting his time blasting the new Republican tax plan for giving Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway a 29 million dollar tax break and then saying that most of the workers are seeing nothing out of it. Why isn't the liberal bigmouth, Warren Buffet, passing on the 29 million dollars to the people under him? Doesn't he believe in liberal values after all?

No government experience = no to being President. Even if he is one of the two most generous people in America.

Why are you lying?
In 2007, [Gates foundation] founders were ranked as the second most generous philanthropists in America, and Warren Buffett the first.[SUP][8][/SUP] As of May 16, 2013, Bill Gates had donated US$28 billion to the foundation.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][9][/SUP] Since its foundation, the foundation has endowed and supported a broad range of social, health, and education developments including the establishment of the Gates Cambridge Scholarships at Cambridge University.

So he funds his foundation with the 2nd most charitable giving in America. Wow, the exact opposite of the **** you posted!
But wait, he signed on to Buffet's commitment to give nearly all of it away on death, leaving only a fraction to his kids.
Bill and Melinda Gates are giving a reported $10 million for each of their three children: pocket change compared with their $76 billion.

Instead of "Moderate Right", you should change it to "Tragically Wrong".

Some people do, some fling poo. Stop flinging poo, it stinks.

Is Bill Gates one of the richest men in the world? Even after all of his donations he is a multibillionaire many times over. How can that be unless he stomped on the people under him and the average Joe's buying his products? He is a one percenter and is still a one percenter. So is Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffet, George Soros, and the like. They are at the very top of the wealth income inequality chain and there is only one way to get there. You can't say that the CEO's of Walmart and McDonalds and banks are evil greedy villains and then let liberal one percenters off the hook for doing the very same thing.

No let's just keep the failed corrupt bussiness man who is arguably more corrupt?

Philanthropist my ass.

As any idiot can look up, he and Melinda are ranked as the #2 most generous philanthropist in America, right behind Buffet, who also does works with Gates!
And on death, they give all but what, $30M away?

These are the most generous philanthropists in all of known history I am assuming, with that many billions going now, and at death, to charity. They've made real differences in millions of peoples lives.

But you're claiming he's not a philanthropist. GOD **** DAMN man, just stop the ****ing lies.

As any idiot can look up, Bill Gates is one of the richest men on Earth and he got that way because he has trampled over everyone underneath him and took advantage of everyone buying his products. Hell, he built most of his wealth through a monopoly. The reason he is STILL one of the richest men on Earth is because he is one of those evil one percenters the left always rails against but the left only rails against Conservative one percenters, not liberal one percenters. If the Koch brothers donated all of their charity to liberal causes and mouthed out liberal policies, they would be touted as heroes by the left, not evil one percenters who greedily take from the poorer to put in their own pockets and contribute the most they can to wealth income inequality. There is no difference between Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey, George Soros, or the Koch brothers, the Walton family, and the Kroc family, not to mention all of the CEO's of Wall Street. The only difference is if they spout liberal values then they are looked up to as heroes and not the evil greedy bastards who got in the top one percent by taking advantage of the other 99%.

"Arguably" is the operative word, since there's no proof. Just pure hope from the hateful left. Keep spewing your platitudes.
