Stormy Daniels' manager says the porn star 'is going to tell her story'

Cohen doesn't seem to be a very smart lawyer.

By claiming to have paid the $130K, if he did indeed violate the NDA (as claimed), then he consequently rendered the NDA null and void!

Also, he now opened up his tax records for Mueller to inspect.

So either he's not very good, or the consequences for Trump were potentially so horrendous, they had to throw caution to the wind and issue his statement.

But something does not add-up with Cohen, here. Not at all.
I seriously doubt Mueller has any jurisdiction over this matter at all, nor should he IMHO.

I don't want this scandal to bring Trump down. There is ample evidence of a WH conspiracy to withhold material information and mislead investigators, in regards to the campaigns outreach to foreign interests.

For that, Trump should be removed from office, not his antics with some anal queen.

I never figured that you would get it.....this is for other people.

EDIT: Trump is a combo of Gordon Gekko, Batman , and something else I cant put my finger on yet....I am still watching to see how this super high roll of the dice in Craps turns out,,,,and while I was once pretty sure I knew, now I dont.

You actually think you're fooling people with your phoney Zen bull****. :lamo

I don't think there is a 'victim' here. And I don't think adultery is the issue, the sex scandal. The issue is the payment. That's what should be raising warning flags. That's what I'd be focused on, were I American. I'd wonder how vulnerable Trump is to blackmail and I'd worry about his predilection for paying off.
Unless you buy the story that his lawyer paid off a six-figure shakedown without Trump even knowing about it, and that now it's public knowledge he's willing to take the fall without any payback, if you buy that then I guess the discussion has nowhere else to go.
This WH is constantly taking action to lie to the nation about everything from the major issues, to the bizarre and patheological.

Did Trump know about Flynn's criminal past? "No"/Yes.
Is Trump going to release his tax returns? "Yes"/No.
Did Obama wiretap Trump Tower? "Yes"/No
Is Trump a billionaire? "Yes"/No.
Did Trump really call all gold star widows? "Yes"/No.
Has Trump tried to remove Mueller as special counsel? "No"/Yes.
Did Time Magazine really offer to make Trump their person of the year? "Yes"/No.
Was the WH aware of the FBI investigation of Porter? "No"/Yes.

Sooo...is her "story" supposed to be one of the "MeToo!" allegations of sexual abuse/harassment...or the more sordid "pay for (sex) play" blackmail type?

She already got a "huge payday," she is obviously seeking more... More money, more notoriety, more sympathy (as if), and to be more relevant.

That's how I see it anyway. :coffeepap:

What do you mean "story"? Who else did Trump pay over a hundred thousand dollars to right before the election? Besides the people he scammed at Trump University (a non-accredited institution of great honor). How can anybody seriously dispute that she had some sort of noteworthy sexual relationship with Trump? Seriously?

But she's definitely not the "me too" type. I saw her on Kimmel. She doesn't strike me as terribly bright unless she was imbibing heavily that morning. She's going to get a very real story together that shows what happens when a creepy guy like our President has an affair with a porn star and to what lengths he (and his team) will go to make sure it never comes to light. And I wouldn't be surprised if somebody pays her a lot of money to prevent her from putting that story out there. Somebody whose name rhymes with "chump." Yes, it's a money grab. What does it matter? Republicans don't care. It's entertainment. No, wait, it's politics. I forgot that politics now falls under the category of entertainment.

If Mueller is examining Trump's campaign financial irregularities, and of course he is, I can't see how he will avoid looking at this.

The deal with Ms. Daniels, is: She's a porn star!

She has no "legit" or "establishment" rep to protect. She can't be held-up for her reputation. She's a porn freaking star, for Chrissakes. She has complete freedom to move in any manner she so choses, outside the norms.

Trump succeeded in politics in part because he could go outside the norms, and not take a hit. Well, her norms are far wider than Trumps. In fact, she has none. And she has nothing to defend!

Trump may have met his match, here.

What I'm curious about is the 130,000 payment.
Did trump start at 100 and stormy started at 150 and they settled on 130?

The art of the deal, sure....

It would be hilarious if trump survived to run again and she ran against him. In the primary.
We would be deciding who could go lower...
Edit: truthfully I have more respect for her, she does not hide who she is. Trump is likely the most dishonest man to ever be in the public eye.

I love how the libertarian conspiracy theorists think they'll be murdered if they post on youtube videos accusing The Clintons of being a "crime family." And here's Stormy Daniels publicly blackmailing the President. That alone has to knock back the doomsday clock.

That's an interesting angle.

Her running against Trump would be pretty funny, and remember there's substantially more women voters than men. And we already had an instance of a porn star winning national office in Italy, so it's not impossible.

But straight-up, in her TV interviews she does come across as more sincere & truthful than Trump.

'Cause when I think of "truth and integrity" I think "porn star."
