Omarosa Says a President Pence Would Leave People Begging for Trump

Omarosa Manigault Newman

Omarosa Manigault Newman, the three-time "Apprentice" contestant and fired White House staffer, told fellow contestants on her current reality television show there’s more reason to fear Mike Pence in the Oval Office than Donald Trump. “Everybody who’s wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider,” she told fellow cast members on the latest episode of CBS’s “Celebrity Big Brother,” which aired Monday night. “We would be begging for days of Trump back if Pence became president.” Manigault Newman’s latest comments touch on a favorite parlor game of some anti-Trump politicians and members of the self-proclaimed resistance who look at Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and other controversies surrounding Trump and speculate on the possibility he’s removed or resigns from office.

That would most likely elevate Pence, a former governor of Indiana and House member who is known for being socially conservative and disciplined. On the campaign trail, Pence often quipped that he was "a Christian, a conservative and a Republican -- in that order." Pence as governor was forced to sign a law banning discrimination based on sexual or gender identity after LGBT groups joined with moderate members of his party and business groups to decry his Religious Freedom Restoration Act. “He’s extreme. I’m Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things. I’m like, ‘Jesus ain’t say that.’” Manigault Newman said. “It’s scary.”

It's a given that Omarosa is no saint (pun intended), but I think there is much more than a kernel of truth in her frank and negative appraisal of Vice President Mike Pence.

I've rung that bell more than once, people need to check out the Constitutional order of succession............

It's difficult to say. On one hand, Trump and Pence = bad, but on the other, Omarosa = sociopath.

We know that the White House is a snake pit of unqualified hacks, liars and backstabbers, and this could be nothing more than another demonstration of that.

If Trump has to leave office because he was improperly elected with illegal assistance from Russia - Pence was also elected to his job in exactly the same way by exactly the same illegality. If Trump goes - Pence should also.

OK and then we have whom??????

In this country we judge people based on their actions, not the actions of others. In order for Pence to go then we'd have to prove that he did the same thing as Trump, assuming that Trump did something illegal to get into office. IE: That Pence actively supported a Trump/Russia connection.

GL on that.

Impeachment will never happen unless the Dems control congress. So we know that schedule couldn't even begin until after 2018. Given the time frame it would prolly take a year or year and a half to make that happen, so bam we are at the 2020 election. With Trump impeached and Pence running on the GOP ticket with who knows as VP, I'd doubt that god could save that ticket and the Dems get the presidency in 2020.

Yes, that scenario would be assuming a lot and unless Mueller can prove Collusion (i.e. money laundering) or Obstruction of Justice, it will be Trump/Pence on the GOP ticket for 2020.

We know he actively campaigned for the Trump/Pence ticket. And if they were elected with illegal help from our chief foreign adversary, the entire ticket elected should go.

According to the Constitution, that would be the Speaker of the House.

That would be the boy wonder with no spine, no thanks.....

Actively campaigning for the Trump/Pence ticket =/= actively seeking or encouraging getting help from Russians. Try again.

Today - yes it would. Should Trump leave after this year, that could be different.

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!! so you are still gullible enough to believe that there was collusion between trump and russia?

I'm not going to comment on Omarosa because she is insane, but I have long believed that Pence would be a much more dangerous president than Trump. Imagine if all of the bad things Trump has done weren't covered that much. A big reason why the Muslim ban, the tax bill, and outrage over DACA is everywhere is because the man behind it all is openly horrible. Pence is secretly horrible. It would be business as usual from the networks, and everyone would still be getting screwed.

BUAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAAAAA!!!! no really, so if another country campaigns, and there is no collusion, that means the election should be thrown out?

Come on. read a civics book,.

You seem to be approaching this from a completely different perspective and view than I am. If Pence did NOTHING - it would not matter because we are not prosecuting him for crime and punishing him for committing a crime where his actions have to be proven. Removal from office is a political move apart from any crime to be prosectued.

My argument is based on one simply thing: the Russians assisted in the election of Trump & Pence and that was illegal. And if that can be satisfactorily proven - then both men should be removed or resign from office.

To be quite blunt here - your standard

is as phony as a three dollar bill with a picture of Andy Kaufman on it. This is NOT based on Pences action. It is based on the illegality of the Russian interference and aid in getting this ticket elected in the first place.

"He thinks Jesus tells him to say things"

Doesn't Jesus know about the separation of church and state? You would think the founders told him.

Come on. read a civics book,.

Another country - Russia - did actively work to get him elected and there was collision between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

So both of your objections are satisfied and resolved.

This is nothing new. I've warned about the theocratic dystopia we'd all be subjected to under Pence.

Show me the evidence of russia and trump colluding. I'll wait.

Here's what happens when you put the shiny side down...

Show me the evidence of russia and trump colluding. I'll wait.

1- we have the report of the intelligence community stating that Russia interfered and helped Trump
2- we have the emails and admissions of Trump Jr. that top people in the campaign met with Russians for the purpose of obtaining illegal campaign assistance from the Russians and even speculated as to the best time for that help to hit in the campaign. That is collusion.
3- We have Trumps own admission that he engaged in obstruction of justice to thwart the investigation with the firing of Comey.

All that is already settled and proven.

1. not evidence of trump colluding with russia.

2. that is not the case, there was one email about one meeting which was quickly moved on from. It's not like they commissioned a foreign agent to make a fake dossier from russian agents on hillary or something.

You people and your cognitive dissonance are too much,.

An email and the meeting is evidence of collusion. No more is necessary since it has already been proven via that evidence which is not in dispute.

Trump invited the Russians into the campaign to help him and they did.

Trump attempted to then obstruct justice to cover up the collusion and committed another crime in doing that. And he admitted it on nationwide TV.

All this has already been established.

And person insults do not change those established facts.

I bet you really believe that. yet if that's collusion, how is the dossier not? run away now.

You fail at NY sarcasm.

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA you have all the alt-left talking points down, I'll say.
