Why won't GOP vote to pay troops ???

The bigger question, is why aren't the Dems pushing this in the media? I'd have everyone of my members chanting two things non-stop:

1] "McConnel, pay the military!"

2] "Trump, you tore-up DACA! Where are now?"

I'd chant that over and over, high and low, from every source that would allow!

These guys have got to learn messaging. They're terrible at it! I mean, really terrible! :doh

Because they know this is another one of their "Everybody-will-die!" stories ...

If there was such a notice, it is a warning should such worse case events happen. In 2013, something similar happened. Congress passed a bill to pay them. That will happen again, and if not... you can bet all you earn, the congress members voting against it will not be reelected. Remember the history of things.

That has not happened. McConnell objected to doing that on Friday night.

Then Mitch is practicing the same malpractice the D's are, willing to burn America down to get their way. The military has been greatly abused for a lot of years, it is a wreck, that last thing these assholes should be doing is heaping yet more abuse upon those who serve us.

Someone is blowing smoke up your skirt.

I'll bet that "official" memo was sent "presort standard," rather than first class too. Just some activist site trying to persuade you.
I'm happy take your inability to provide an evidence based rebuttal, as a concession.

He is referring to a separate bill to fund just military pay. It was done last shutdown I believe.

This video from just after the budget failure Friday night, may shed some light Jesse:

This is why you always include a source in your OP, kids. Starting your thread with an out-of-context rant is a rookie move.

You need 60 votes to pass a budget, If every single Republican voted yes (51) then they dont have enough to pass a budget. They must also get 9 democrats to vote yes. Where is your outrage that you cant even get 9 (out of the 49) democrats to vote yes to fund you military men?

The bill does not include funding for military construction, military family housing, civil works projects of the Army Corps of Engineers, and nuclear warheads, which are all considered in other appropriations bills.
Just saying

So what is the reason why the Republicans in the Senate refuse to vote to pay our troops during the shutdown?

Why are they holding our military hostage and not doing their patriotic duty to support our military men and women by paying them for their service?

Republicans are voting for the budget....

Have you evidence otherwise?
