Kelly: Trump Uninformed on Wall, Campaign Promises

Geesh, people ... Kelly said nothing that we didn't already know.

"... a concrete wall from sea to shining sea” wouldn’t be built, but would instead be a “physical barrier in many places. ...are places where, geographically, a wall would not be realistic.” "

"... Kelly said: “In one way or another, it's possible that we could get the revenue from Mexico but not directly from their government.” ..."

I'm not spinning anything, that's just too much work to do. And besides these aren't unnamed sources. I guess you didn't read the full articles because it says here:

What are these source's names? Hmmm?

Also from Fox News:

Pelosi told him to meet with the Hispanic Caucus if Trump wanted a deal.

This guy asked Kelly what Trump meant by Border Wall:

You really think Kelly/Democrats are making all this up? For what purpose?

How many unnamed sources have you disproven in all your research? So even if everything is recorded that still wouldn't please you because of an even more far reaching greater conspiracy to make Trump look worse than he already does by himself??? SERIOUSLY???!!!!

You really should take a class in journalism 101 to find out how this all works.

These other two quotes are snippets. You don't even give links. There is no context attached to these quotes.

This is what I mean by spin, speculation and innuendo.

Heck, in your own OP, you conclude...based on unnamed sources...that there will be no wall.

I'll wait for verified facts, if you don't mind.

...said the person with an anonymous screen name.

Nobody in the media is quoting me. Believe me...if they did, I would insist on being named.

From the beginning we knew the entire wall would not be a solid wall. The Secretary of DHS in her testimony this week made it perfectly clear that is what was proposed. This administration has spent the entire year investigating, planning, summarizing where the solid wall would be most effective. Several prototypes have been built. They have been quietly acquiring land on private property where the wall is most needed. Other areas technology will be beefed up as well and manpower. The result a more solid secured border.

It makes no damn good sense to pass amnesty for DACA unless you first secure the border. In her testimony this week, the DHS Secretary said in the last three months there has been a surge of more minors alone and families pouring across the borders along with a lot of drug activity. Enough!

It is Congress Constitutional duty to secure our borders. There's no damn good reason for why they are not secured.

Kelly confirmed he said the things in the WashPo article on Fox News. What more do you want??? Jeez. I just wish you guys would put this much effort into questioning your own click-bait news sites.

Kelly is looking to redeem his reputation and legacy after he sabotaged the bi-partisan agreement last Thursday with Stephen Miller. This after his disgraceful behavior with the Gold Star family. Unfortunately, a possible rogue general is the best hope we have ...
BTW - Did you catch WI last night?

It upholds a pretty consistent pattern the last several months, of the Dems +double-digits on Hillary/Trump.

Ryan's CD borders my IL-16, so yes. SS-10 is in WI-03 Kind, as GDV tells us, so good news. WI-06 Grotham is also at risk.

Their State House is probably beyond reach atm, but the SS is now 19-14 GOP. Washington State just flipped to a DEM trifecta with a flip of ONE seat. GOPs have a 1-seat Senate lead in MN, but their House is currently out of reach.

So much for who cares about state elections, since they'll be doing 142 remaps.

A Koch-GOP is running against a decent GOP to face Baldwin for Senate. Kochs have already dumped $5 million against Baldwin. Walker has no real challengers right now ...

Thanks.

But I was thinking in terms of the pattern of Dems +10/15/20 pts, that we've been seeing lately in the special elections all over the country, and what implications it may have nationally for 2018?

The Dems are continuously getting double-digit gains in Trump country.

We already knew that there wouldn't be a wall built along the entire stretch of the border. Why is it that you people don't understand that?

No Trump supporter said that until Trump said it. Funny how that works.

Thanks.

Yes--DEMs won this seat by 9% after trump won it by over 17%. The next really big one is Pennsylvania CD-18, which trump is all in on. Conor Lamb is a great candidate for the DEMs ...

Do you have any stats on this district (PA CD-18)? From 2016 with respect to Trump? If you have link sources to this type of data, I'd greatly appreciate it.

And yeah, this is the married pro-life guy, that tried to push his mistress to have an abortion. Family values at their best, eh?

PA's on its 2nd set of CDs, SDs, and HDs this decade and this set is currently in court. Disgraced Murphy ran unopposed in 2016. trump won this CD by 19.54%; Romney won it by 16.96% so tough; GOPs must win; this election data link is really long so I owe you;

Here's the green papers link for PA-2018 elections -- Pennsylvania 2018 General Election -- drop down to PA-18 to see the candidates in each primary on 02/13/18. Conor Lamb and Rick Saccone are the favorites. Then, the click on each candidate goes to their web site ...

Well thanks for reminding about the Green Papers, anyway.

So +20% Trump, and +17 Romney? What the hell is Trump doing down there? Can they possibly be worried?

Either they're worried, or Trump needs a personal win for his PR. But baby! If they lose, the **** will hit the fan.

I's also venture that if they lose by single digits, they are going to find Nov 6 a very long night ...

That link you're looking for can be found by searching: Presidential Vote by Congressional District; SDs and HDs will also be there for POTUS vote;

You'll see which states have had their maps thrown out. :lamo Amazing data mining, taught to us by REDMAP 2010, the original election brilliance of this type ...

Excellent, NIMBY! That's exactly what I was looking for!

And at I site I haven't visited in ages.

Now I owe you, buddy.

The wall idea isn't too shabby, it's the part where Trump says it's going to be made entirely out of concrete I do a face palm.

No Trump supporter said that until Trump said it. Funny how that works.

It went unsaid because we assumed that the AT's were smart enough to already know it. I guess we should have known better.

You're not the ones who usually lecture us. I thought it was the other way around and you guys were sick of it?

Wake up. People are trying to rationalize the irrational trump ...

somebody else in the white house took exception to kelly's comments:
“The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it,” the president said in a morning tweet. “Parts will be, of necessity, see through and it was never intended to be built in areas where there is natural protection such as mountains, wastelands or tough rivers or water.”

“The Wall will be paid for, directly or indirectly, or through longer term reimbursement, by Mexico, which has a ridiculous $71 billion dollar trade surplus with the U.S.,” Trump said. “The $20 billion dollar Wall is ‘peanuts’ compared to what Mexico makes from the U.S. NAFTA is a bad joke!”
