WISC: Dem takes GOP held Senate seat

All anyone has to do in this part of the country is to look at Detroit and several other cities in that area the Democrats destroyed with years of left wing and union control.

Once you understand the ****hole they left in this part of the country, Why anyone would vote Democrat is just plain STUPID.

Michigan is a **** hole of epic proportions. Wisconsin, not far behind...
I've traveled to Michigan extensively for work. It's cold as hell but it's not even close to a **** hole.

You do realize Haymarket that it is natural for the DNC to take back seats that are currently GOP? Just as the GOP took seats that were once DNC seats. That is how its been happening for a very long time now. No one Party has held the seats they get indefinitely. That's why I laugh at people that bring up things like this as if it actually means something or attempt to say that "X party is dying out and will never get seats again". IE: This is natural. No big deal. This political cycle DNC will get seats. Next political cycle GOP will take back those seats. Rinse, Repeat.

You do realize Kal'Stang that trump won this rural seat by 17.25%; a seat held by the GOP for 17 years ...

Whatever, you keep believing whatever it is you want to think. I'll keep laughing.

Gov. Walker wasn't laughing today with his tweets. And before this huge loss of a state senate district held by someone now in his state cabinet, Walker was lamenting the Holder/Obama redistricting project as the head of the Republican Governors Association ...

Your point is not relevant to my post. Seats change. It's the natural order of things.

You don't know much about Wisconsin do you?

The republicans have tried to rape and pillage the state since taking control and gerrymandering the districts so unfairly that the supreme court is ruling on repealing. It as we speak.

A democrat taking a republican seat in this state is actually pretty big considering how all republican seats were gerrymandered to be safe.

It also means that Congressman Kind is s bit safer at this moment, though he does have a strong opponent ...

So? Is this supposed to prove something? No? Ok. TTFN

Not when a rural seat that went 17.25% trump and was held by the GOP for 17 years flips ...

It certainly means something to GOPoliticos in your party who are paying attention ...

Not my party. I don't have a party. And I could care less if they are just as short sighted as those that think this is something worth celebrating or crying over.

34 GOP state seats flipping since trump --- nothing to see here

Yea, Dems are going to take a lot of seats. Is there a Dem version of Red Map yet?

Yes --- as GOPs work on REDMAP 2020, DEMs have the Holder/Obama redistricting project that Walker lamented to the RGA as its head.

The dumbest thing GOPs have done since REDMAP 2010 is brag out loud how they did it ...

Very true... They completely ruined Detroit, and speaking for my state of WI, they have ruined Milwaukee, are actively ruining Madison, and Madison's problems are spreading into nearby cities which were once conservative leaning and were very good cities. Sun Prairie used to be a very nice conservative leaning small city of maybe 12K or so people thirty years ago... Now, it has turned into a mini-Madison because Madison has almost literally connected itself with it, and now it is a 32K+ person liberal leaning sh**hole with increasing crime, pan handlers, loiterers, etc... Most of WI is a nice conservative leaning state, but Milwaukee and Madison (and their seepage into nearby neighborhoods) ruin everything...

Hopefully we can get completely useless Tammy Baldwin voted out this year... No idea why people in this state vote for her... What has she even done besides endlessly tell everyone about her grandmother and be a solid 100% democrat vote?

Yip, the last true republican in this state was Dale Schultz...
This win for democrats in a very red district gives me hope that we can stop raping the environment and giving away our state to Chinese corporate farmers and other foreign companies. Then actually start fixing the infrastructure.

It used to be 'escape to Wisconsin' starting in the late 70s for me. Ice Age trails, John Muir, Kettles and Moraines. Influx of cons from my IL has flipped WI to the GOPs.

My summary has Baldwin having a tough race coming up against the GOPrimary winner of Koch-backed Nicholson and beloved state Senator Leah Vukmir.

I don't see Walker in any trouble atm, especially with 18 DEMs in the primary, a DEM problem across the Nation.

I'm using the green papers for federal elections, ballotpedia for state elections, dailykos for election summaries and data mining, and Breitbart for ****s and giggles ...

Very red district that was gerrymandered to stay red and be a safe republican seat went heavily democrat.
There are lot of people that feel it could be another indication of a democratic wave.

With Gov. Walker ringing the alarm bells ...

I guess that pretty much covers it. ;)

Although I must admit I am very old school and greatly prefer the guys who cross the goal line, casually drop the ball on the ground and jog back to the bench like they have been there many times before.

But thats just me.

Sounds like you've met my ol' buddy Earl Campbell.

So, you condone Franken's conduct? Gotcha!

Where did you read that?

Why do GOPs continue to support the pedophile Hastert Rule ?

Of course it matters, the entire House is up for reelection. The question is how many seats will the GOP loose, enough to flip the House to the Dems? I believe that was OP's intent of the post.
