Obama rips Fox News viewers are living on a different planet

Obama rips Fox News viewers: ?You are living on a different planet? | Fox News

This pretty much sums up the attitude of today's radical Democratic Party and the incompetent President who led it for the past 8 years. Obama is so out of touch with reality that it is he living in that alternative universe, a true fantasy world where results don't matter but rhetoric and feelings do.

I welcome anyone here explaining that comment by the former President and why Fox Viewers are living on a different planet? Could it be that Fox viewers actually think rather than feel, that they actually look at results vs. being led around and told what to believe?

Why would anyone be complimentary to the liberal media outlets who are making the news up as they go along vs. reporting it? Tell us exactly what it is about Fox viewers that bother you, could it be that they actually think with their brains instead of only with their hearts?

Nothing bothers me about Fox. It is ironic that you are so upset about Obama ripping them, but worship Trump for saying the same about CNN. He does the same as Obama, yet you reserve your criticism for one side.

The rest of what you say is the normal "Republicans are simply superior people bull**** that you always spew.

There is no denying that Fox News and NPR are both biased sources of news and lean in opposite directions. One that is exposed to a steady and exclusive dose of either is, in fact, getting a very different picture of this planet. What one must remember about news media bias is that the vast majority of that bias is in what is not reported.

On almost any "newsworthy" event there is what actually happened, what happened according to a left leaning source, what happened according to a right leaning source and, of course, the usual no mention of that event at all.

Lets not liken the two as the same. NPR is a much superior, fact based source than Fox News.

Worship? Where was that in my comments? I do have to agree however with your statement but change Republicans to Conservatives being superior people. We are indeed and I became a JFK Conservative but today the Democratic Party is nothing but a group of radicals trying to implement a socialist agenda by destroying the economy that made this country the greatest on the face of the earth.

I asked you a question which you ignored so try again. What is it about Fox Viewers that put them in an alternative Universe as that is who the former President attacked, basically mainstream America and the silent majority

I find it hard to find bias in ACTUAL economic and foreign policy RESULTS. There certainly is bias in the Op Ed section of Fox News but not in mainstream news reporting and that is the issue. I guess propaganda is only valid when it comes from the left

And I stand by that statement and posted BLS charts to prove it. You want to compare month to month rather than against same month last year as you buy rhetoric and ignore actual data. Here is the data you want to ignore so show me where in this chart employment was better than in 2016? By the way it is employment that matters more than jobs created as millions of those so called jobs created by the Obama Administration were part time for economic reasons. He left us with 152 million Americans employed of which 5.8 million were part time under employed people who couldn't find a job in that booming Obama economy

Really? Have you visited the thread right here on DP with NPR comparing ICE agents to the Gestapo?

I will grant you that NPR and Fox News are far different but both display an easily detectable bias. It just may be that you, as a self proclaimed Progressive, appreciate a heavy dose of confirmation bias and thus find the resulting (warm and fuzzy?) feeling to be superior.

So let's see if I have this right and for example, In December 2016 there were 152.2 MILLION Americans employed and in December 2017 that was 154.0 million which by your statements means 154 million is fewer than 152.2 million? Is that liberal math?

Except I back up my statements with actual data which are FACTS something you don't seem to understand. In that liberal alternate world, opinions and rhetoric trump actual data and reality. Keep diverting from the data that affects the American people and keep losing elections

The truth comes out about your views. I guess you don't really believe in freedom, just privileges for a conservative overclass that has the right to control others eh? Freedom for the conservative overclass and militarized police for everyone else eh?

Fox News should be held to a lesser standard then other news outfits because its conservative and thus superior?

It is quite easy to accomplish that (bolded above) - simply report only those "actual results" that fit your agenda. Taking the latest tax "reform" actual results as an example, it is a fact (actual result) to say "many will see a tax decrease", "many will see a tax increase" and "those with higher incomes will see a larger change in their taxes owed". Of course, most will place emphasis on only one or possibly two of those three facts (actual results).

He knows exactly what he's saying, why he's saying it, and to whom he's saying it.
It's the strategy of divisiveness that needs constant feeding through outlets eager to participate.

A former President said that Fox Viewers live in a different universe. Care to address that comment by showing how that is true? Because someone thinks and votes differently from you and buys actual data versus being swayed by leftwing rhetoric doesn't make them less credible and living in an alternative universe

Bogus charges by Obama fire up the ignorant Democratic base as if they need to be more fired up. the hatred in that base says it all and is displayed here in all the anti Trump threads in Breaking News

I just don't know how much is genuine, how much is gullibility, and how much is strictly carrying the political flag.
