Trump Says Enemies Will Love Him in 2018

I'll grant you that there have been some good things so far in the Trump administration, and, yes, some of this has been the points you've mentioned.

The agenda that got him elected is being implemented, but not enough, and not fast enough to my liking.
Most of the derailment to the agenda has been cases when Trump himself shot him and his administration in their own feet. That part is rather frustrating.

The talent pool is so very small, because so many Americans are on strike.....you cant blame Trump for that.

In Trump speak all I can figure out from this is that we will begin to see liberal Trump in 2018.

Man, wouldn't that be funny?

All the GOP who have been defending him for years, and then he does an about face, and walks completely away from them, after stripping them of health care, food stamps, Meals and Wheels and school lunches.

But - speaking from the blue side of the aisle, I'm not interested in his being a liberal. The GOP created this monster. They can keep him.

The talent pool in the sense that most are establishment bureaucrats who are more invested in the DC swamp continuing? To that I'd have to say yes, we've seen clear evidence of this with all the leaks.

The people who run the gears have no use for Trump and The Rebellion I mean.

Really limits what can be done, this stuff takes a lot of time to learn if one must start from scratch, Newt has come back to this topic time and again....the goal is to make Trump look as bad as possible to speed the process of sloughing him off, do as little as possible otherwise, and then wait him out.

I'll tell you what, Trump has done far better than I had dared to hope at getting people to admit that they have seen some of the deep flaws of Washington in general and in our so-called justice system in particular.

This is a man of many talents I tell you.

AND MONSTROUS BALLS

And history is chock-full of demagogues with "monstrous balls" who led their nations to utter ruin.

This.

The Democrats should be thanking their lucky stars every day that Trump decided one day to be a Republican. Now the Republicans, especially their voters, own him. His Democrat past is irrelevant.

On the other hand the R party was forced into some reforms, the D's on the other hand have yet to apologize for being sure that Hillary had been chosen by the arc of history to be the first woman American president, and then making sure that no Obama 2.0 would spoil the pudding this time.

If I have to chose one over the long haul I am taking the reformed one.

In the long run the Democrats win, IMO. Here's why:

A Hillary Presidency would have been met with unprecedented scorn from the GOP. They hate her even more than Obama. Like Trump, she's wildly unpopular, and chances are in 2020 a normal Republican candidate would have slaughtered her and taken back the white house for 8 years.

Trump and the GOP have been absolute failures at governing, and just passed the most unpopular tax bill in history. The Democrats, despite being disliked, are starting to slowly but surly make some gains, and are currently polling better than Republicans. Plus, the good thing is the DNC has finally ridded themselves of the Clinton's.

The Clinton's suck, the Clintons wanted a weak party for two decades because it made it more easy for them to be in charge and lord knows it had to be about them, Clinton Corp refuses to go away, The D's refuse to either throw Clinton Corp out nor apologize for what just happened,,,,,,how we got to Trump......And Bernie that old fool refuses to make way for a better man/woman/whatever.....and that goes for a host of very old very failed CongressCritters as well.

SEE WHAT I MEAN?

Only a corrupt moron would want to be "loved by [their] enemies," I love my enemies (disclaimer: not romantically and it does not change the fact that they are my enemies and that I must eliminate/defeat them) but I'd prefer them to not reciprocate the feeling.

Trump's vanity aside, I am very optimistic about 2018.

I will be going S-corp instead of sole proprietor. The few hundred bucks that I dole out for the paperwork will be well worth it.

Also, I get to write off my equipment outright instead of the depreciation nonsense of the past.

Pay myself a salary and pass through the rest towards some equipment I have needed, along with another work vehicle.

I voted for Trump and feel he is doing a great job. I hear some people complain but they just use negative words...I've never heard any thing from anyone other than what they have heard the news media say or Democrat hacks. They news media seems to make a lot of mistakes in reporting about Trump...something they didn't do for Obama. Obama will eventually turn out to be the most corrupt President in history...even more so than LBJ. Fact is, there is a certain amount of the people he will never make happy because of their agenda. At least George Soros does not own Trump. We could go on and on, but if you have a job..and draw a paycheck...you will be making more money next year.

best regards,

You touched on all the talking points. Good job!

Smarter people can do more than one thing at a time, unlike dumb Trump supporters.

WAKE UP

So basically your calling everyone that supports Trump dumb, even though you don't know them...

And they say republicans are bigoted.

Nope Im just laying out facts, trump supporters hate that as well.

Would the average Trump supporter really care? They seem to support him no matter what. Rumor is, he wants to work with dems on infrastructure first. It needs to be worked on. Obama was willing to spend on the money, but they screamed and yelled. Trump, again, will take the crap out the budget and they will stand around and cheer it on.

Trump supporters are not traditional Republicans. Trump's rhetoric created a base of people that went to the polls bringing their problems, bringing racism, bringing opiate drugs, but some of'em, I assume are good people. :2razz:

People say Nixon accomplished a lot with liberals, but look at his legacy. Democrats should work with him to pass policy, if it is a good policy, but it isn't going to save Trump's image.
Governing around Trump was always the obvious only right call.

So of course America could not manage.

WE USED TO BE BETTER

The claims of racism are massively inflated as an excuse to refuse to attempt to listen.

I've been making more money every year for years now.

Its all me.

Trump has nothing to do with it.

And if you're talking about the $500 a year or so less in taxes? Call me underwhelmed that I can get three extra cups of coffee a week.

Whatever, but understand that communications takes two people trying, Trump is making you do your work, and I dont think this is a bad thing because this makes you invested, when you do figure out what Trump is saying it means more to you.

Dont wait on any members of the Intelligentsia to tell you this though, most of them are too ignorant to know, and those who do know tend to be too immoral to speak this truth.

I see you've changed from "elite" to "intelligentsia".

And you're not using that term correctly either.

Just say amorally greedy and/or power hungry.

Then you would be accurate but have to include your boy.

I was playing off of what Trump said about Mexicans.
