It seem that the dogs have turned on each other ...

We all know that Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump hate each other - no big secret there. But now in an interview with VANITY FAIR Magazine, Bannon is more than happy to throw Kushner under the bus for meeting with Russians for the specific purpose of getting their help in the campaign against Clinton. Can you spell C.O.L.L.U.S I.O.N.?

Former Trump chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon milled his former Oval Office colleague Jared Kushner into a bloody chunk of battle sausage this week and smeared him across the shiny pages of Vanity Fair. You’ve got to read Bannon’s quote three or four times to fully savor the tang of its malice and cruelty. After scorning the Russia collusion theories as fiction, Bannon acknowledged the grisly reality that the Russia investigation poses for his former boss. And he blamed it all on Kushner, for having created the appearance that Putin had helped Trump. Dropping Kushner head first into the grinder, Bannon turned the crank.
“[Kushner was] taking meetings with Russians to get additional stuff. This tells you everything about Jared,” Bannon told the magazine’s Gabriel Sherman. “They were looking for the picture of Hillary Clinton taking the bag of cash from Putin. That’s his maturity level.”

Informing Vanity Fair that Kushner’s hunt for political smut led him to over-fraternize with the Russians might not be the best way for Bannon to throw special counsel Robert S. Mueller III off the collusion scent. So what was the big man in the Barbour coat up to?

Of course, when he throws Kushner under the bus like this a man named Mueller will probably want to speak to him about it. And what good does that do his favorite politician - Donald Trump?

I get the feeling Bannon wants to burn everything down

I see now that there is another thread on the same subject from a few hours previously.

Could a mod simply close this one down?

thanks.

And of course reading the story none of this is a new line of attack, and is evidence really of nothing. In fact if you read Bannons words, nothing implies a crime or conspiracy of any kind involving Kushner

Dude, let them have their little moment. In the last few weeks, their spirits have been lifted into the stratosphere twice(at least), only to find out later that the undeniably biased media, who they put ALL their trust in, lied to them YET AGAIN! Both CNN and ABC fabricated stories that "Russian collusion has been proven", then had to (deceptively) admit their "reporting" was completely irrelevant and false!!

Then again, when the media are that giddy to see a president taken down, regardless of actual evidence, while conveniently ignoring the much more obvious, multiple instances of collusion involving their own candidate, then, I guess we shouldn't feel bad for them huh??

Sop why then has Trump lied about it all along?

Actually, it shows that when Trump and his inner circle told the public (and investigators) they had taken no meetings with any Russian meetings, they knew that in fact dozens upon dozens of meetings had taken place, and that they were well aware of the Russian effort to meddle in the election.

They had actually been warned by the FBI well in advance of the Russian wave, but instead of reporting the disturbing meetings that had taken place already, they ignored the warning and continued more outreach, using foreign policy as leverage along the way -- which is against federal election laws.

Then they covered up the truth by lying to the FBI, lying on their security applications, giving cover stories to the Congress, harassing members of the intel community to drop investigations concerning criminal activity they were aware of, and god knows what else.

When Fenton takes about Watergate looking like a parking ticket, he's got the right idea, just not the right story.;)

It has all stunk from hell to high heaven since Trump first denied, "having anything to do with Russia."

The thing is conservatives jsut don't care. Right wing media has built the left into a monolith of illegal dealings and bamboozlings. Look at what's coming out now. About Obama supposedly working with Hezbollah to sell cocaine in America. They think it's their turn to be corrupt because right wing media has lied about the left for 8 years straight.

Conservatives don't care if the Trump cabal met with the Russians, colluded, etc. To them it was 'opposition research'. You'll never get them to admit 'collusion'. If they are proven wrong about the collusion narrative they will instantly burst into flames in rapture to their Christian deity.

But when the Russians sold information to the Clinton campaign you defend that.
